Dempsey will be back, which should help a bit, but a Shudder to think what we'll look like defensively without Yedlin and Johnson.

Have they called up Rosenberry yet? This would appear to be the perfect time.

Atlanta United Viking Clap

In a way, these eight games at Bobby Dodd are great practice for us supporters. When we open Mercedes Benz stadium on 7/30, we'll have 70k in attendance on a Sunday afternoon national FOX broadcast. Should make for an incredible atmosphere.

In the comments someone posted attendance figures that show Galaxy above Portland...

Portland sells out their small stadium, LA is MAYBE half full on their huge stadium.

I don't disagree with your point but Galaxy's stadium only seats 27,000, and it doesn't take away from the lameness of attendance smack that they have a larger stadium

Clubs need more say in what players can and can't do international wise. Like oh I don't know Everton being able to ban Irish players from playing for Ireland...

Christian Pulisic is playing in an entirely different planet than Honduras tonight. 2 assists and the US lead 3-0 3- minutes in. Dempsey, Litget, and Bradley with the goals.

And now Pulisic adds another assist and a goal in the first 3 minutes of the 2nd half. Dempsey scored a 2nd after the assist.

Its 5-0

Remember when I said Jurgen should call Pulisic in and others on here said no way because he was only a Dortmund youth player (despite him playing in a Champions League fixture only a few weeks prior)?

I'm really glad we got him cap-tied.

Just got done watching the replay...Good lord that team looked light years ahead of what was on the field the last few years. You can tell the players have bought back in, and the squad selection and tactics are playing toward strengths rather than trying to fit square pegs in round holes. Bradley look more comfortable, Pulisic looked like a player with twice his experience at the 10 and Dempsey rolled back the clock.

It helped that Bradley never actively tried to assist the opponent's goals.

In this era of player power, always a risk to have to coach the son of the coach you replaced. Jurgen fell into that trap.

Messi suspended for next 4 Argentina matches (starting with the Bolivia match today) for fussing with a ref during last match. RIP Argentina.

Someone between Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Ecuador are going to get left out, and losing your best player doesn't help the situation. Things are going to get VERY interesting.

its outrageous he got 4 games. If you watch the replay he was never physical....didnt really act out at all. You could see he was mad but never threatening or showing up the ref. The ref didn't even put it in his report. Nothing was gonna happen until Chile complained to COMEBOL. Then the 4 games came down. Its the same suspension that Neymar got for his temper tantrum during the Copa 2 years ago.

Maybe they're sick of Argentina after the last few years worth of stuff they've had RE: corruption/scandal. Want to bring the hammer.

How many games did Luis Suarez get for biting into an Italian Sub in 2014?

Messi should get 1/100 of that punishment.

Completely agree...but I think this has a lot more to do with punishing the federation than the player.

I agree with that as well. That's sad, though, because things shouldn't be handled that way.
