RE: Get ready...
Something tells me this regional is going to be about L. Ball and him doing something similar to what D. Rose did in the Sweet 16.

He is not even close to DRose in talent, hustle, shooting, speed or virtually any other BB skill-you buying dad's hype?

His peers don't like him, the media doesn't like him and pretty much everyone outside of Kentucky fans don't like him. He'll tell you it's because he wins, and he'd be wrong. K has won a lot more than Cal, and K is largely respected and admired. Same with Izzo and a few others.

Guess that's why he is in HOF and Tubby isn't.

I think Tubby's 30-17 in the tournament. Cal is something like 50-16. There's no comparison between the two as far as tournament success goes. The only thing Tubby has over Cal in that regard is taking 5 teams to the dance as opposed to Cal's 3. Now, if you want to talk about anything related to character . . . let's just say Cal ain't gettin' in that Hall of Fame.

John Calipari was joined onstage by 64 of his former players during his Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame induction on Friday night.

Calipari gave most of the credit behind his success to his players.
“The reason I stand here is more about the players I've coached,” Calipari said. “I never grabbed a rebound, I never scored a point, I never had an assist.”

Lemme know when he's on stage accepting this one.

Amen. You got people who think watching the Tigers 30 times a year makes them experts on CBB. Cal and Dana were the best two things to ever happen to Tiger BB.

Dana was a good old country boy who wasn't ready for the money and fame that came with Memphis job. Made some bad decisions.

Cal was the opposite and correct me if I am wrong but has never been personally penalized by NCAA. Both made Tiger basketball relevant again after the longest droughts in our modern history.

Bartow was best thing that happened to Tiger BB.

Lipman, RC Cola and Surely folded before the NCAA like a cheap suit.

Hey Hoops, the point I was trying to make is, they never mentioned the true fact that most Tiger fans aren't mad because he left, I'm not and never have been. Some (most) Tiger fans are just pizzed about the way he went about it, those clowns never presented it that way. Decoursey made it sound like we owe our very existence to Cal. In other words say the truth or don't say anything at all about the reasons why Tiger fans feel the way they do about Cal.

Just like some folks should stick to commenting on the Grizz because that's what they know and care about the most. But hey, each to his own, no biggie.

And you have some on here who think they're the only one who knows anything about Tiger basketball when in reality they don't know jacks**t, other than to act like a two year old when someone challenges them or disagrees with them.
