Marshall's shooters are finally coming back down to earth. Now they're only shooting 20 points better than their season avg from 3 after 3 straight misses.

They were lights out in the first half, Tech has had to play damn near perfect ball to keep this close.

According to my little old CBSSportsNet Phone App, it's Marshall 68- La Tech 59 with 9:36 to go in the 2nd Half! Looks like this ball game really tightened up. Sure hope that whoever wins, is really tired tomorrow night before we play you. Don't think that ankle injury is slowing down that Elmore fella.

Whatever happens, hands down this is the best officiating I have seen in a C-USA game this year.

So obviously I'm pissed that we lost, but I have to say that was pretty amazing watching Marshall shoot the ball. When you are making threes like that it's hard to complain too much. That was impressive. Good game, good win Marshall.

Another year and another disappointing tournament exit for the Dogs. Future is bright, but man does it get old having a good team only to fall short of the NCAAs.

Wow! Big Victory For the Thundering Herd and condolences to the Bulldogs. Sure hope Marshall has shot all of its ammunition. 93 is a bunch of points for anybody in a college BB game.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did shoot all of their ammunition today, but they have been impressive all year.

I kept thinking surely they can't keep this up. Not sure how they finished, but they did come down slightly from the 90% they were shooting from 3 point range early on. Very impressive.

Congrats Marshall. Tough to beat 3pt shooting like that.
