Braley and Burdeaux are going to be lethal in our lineup this year if each can stay healthy. Pitching wasn't too bad today. 11 Ks with I believe one walk from our starting pitcher isn't too shabby to begin either. I hope all of our starters can last 5+ innings throughout the season.

...This could very well be a special season....we need these kids to stay healthy, stay sharp and play smart.....I'm tellin ya. what I see here is something I have not seen on our team in a while now.

I have no doubt that as long as we stay healthy our bats will keep clicking and putting up a lot of runs. My worry this year is the same as last year- quality pitching depth especially deep into the weekends and season. I'm hoping the true freshman we have on Sunday will be all that I've heard he is. Middle relief and closing the game our is still my cautious worry as well.

I was out of town tonight, but I heard that it was close and appeared to be fair. Would have been something to see 3 Blasts in a game from him. It seems as if he's picked up where he left off.

It was very close. Tough to tell from my seat at least.

Burdeaux hit a line drive down the RF line in the 8th but it was called just foul. Thought for sure it was fair.

Rice knocks off Texas in Austin. Plus Charlotte beat WVU (as previously mentioned) and FIU over Jacksonville State. Both WVU and JSU are likely top 100 teams.

Think CUSA is going to be quite good again. Rice/USM/FAU should be strong and I think Tech/FIU will surprise.

Little bit of both IMO. Think we're a good hitting team but Northeastern is pretty bad.

Been to both games. Their pitching is bad. Verified by their fans they only have 7-8 starts from last year in rotation.

Today's score could have been much worse. SB pulled many in the 6-7 inning range but NE still kept walking us.

We shall see when the competition changes.

Now since I posted this, we will get skull drug tomorrow.

And the train horns are killer.

Or you could just put the ******* on ignore. He chased me on Facebook well into the night one night - couldn't sleep for all the damn 'dings' I got from his posting to my account. Blocking in that case did the trick. I imagine the same treatment here would stop his harassing you.
