UCONN is slowly putting themselves in a good position for the number 5 spot. Consider that:

1. They have the tiebreaker over UCF with their 2 wins
2. Tulsa has 6 losses, and still has road games at UCF, Cincy and SMU. They could lose all 3.

10-8 in league play might get them that 5 spot.

That St. Mary's gym is really old school. Got to be a tough place for visiting teams--well maybe not for Gonzaga.

not yet..everyone else still has a ton of hard games left, ucf has it relatively easy, you could argue they are behind because they had their hard games earlier than the others

Barring a huge upset of Cincy, the best UCF can finish will be 10-8.

That's not going to cut it for 3rd place.

The back of the schedule is the only reason UH has a chance. If they don't produce at least one win over SMU or Cincinnati in the next month, it's a mute point. Yes, it's a mute point.

It's all about the Top 5 (who get 1st round AAC Tourn Bye)

Here is how #3 thru #9 look this AM:

3) UH 9-4
4) UCONN 8-5
5) Memphis 8-6

8) Temple 5-9
9) ECU 4-9

Remember where UCF and Memphis finish relative to each other could have huge implications on who is the 1 seed in the AAC tournament. If UC and SMU both run the table UC is the 1 seed if UCF finishes higher, SMU is the 1 seed if Memphis finishes higher.
