RE: ESPN
Millennials, like myself, love sports but our viewing habits are different. Cutting the cord makes sense beyond sports because of the money you can save. Plus you can still watch tons of sports with the internet and an OTA.

Millennials also have changing views of sports. We like soccer, way more than the previous generations. This is a normal change from generation to generation. Baby Boomers parents (The Greatest Generation- I think?) loved track, boxing and horse racing. Baby boomers did not and those sports fell out of the national spotlight. Millennials love soccer.

RE: ESPN
I tend to turn to social media for sports more than ESPN nowadays. We want instant information nowadays. Why wait for something to scroll across the bottom of the screen or to make it onto Sportscenter when you can simply search the two teams' names on Twitter and have an abundance of information? A good beat writer will cover a game so well on Twitter that you feel as if you have watched the game by simply reading their timeline.

The Baby boomers are the worst generation ever!! They took a great post WW2 country and have **** on it for 65 years and now look down on millennials for not being as successful in a world they created to be slanted way more against us then they ever had. A generation should be graded based on how they left it for the next one and they baby boomers drained the pool and yell about why young people can not swim.

As a cord cutter myself (or shaver), one thing that is being 're-discovered' is the OTA TV. The new age of digital TV has really changed the game. With the analogue signal, you would need a separate station for each channel. Now a digital station, can broadcast several channels or more from a just one station with the digital sub-channels. There are so many more types of channel now OTA than there were 5 years ago. With the American Sports Network measuredly get 24 hr stations on the sub-channels across the US and as well as ASN events on the channels/stations owned by the parent Sinclair stations, that can provide even more of a catalyst for dropping cable.
Not to mention the digital networks. The MW has a robust network to stream games for free and hopefully CUSA and other G5 conferences will follow suit.

He says imgur.com, Ive been using Photobucket (though the pop ups have become crazy so I wouldn't recomend) but really any image hosting site that can give you the code will do.

For videos, go to youtube video you want click share and copy the part of the link after the forward slash so for : https://youtu.be/Jfn2CKDO70Y

it'd be : Jfn2CKDO70Y

Put that in between and viola.

If you hit reply to this post you can see the coding where the video is

Millennial is one of those words I wish would go away. So overused

And full cable packages are a waste of money. Over 100$ average cross the nation for your average consumer to watch a few channels only.

I like sports and I like highlights. Unfortunately ESPN is dominated by neither. They show one or two games a night if we are lucky, they have MNF, and they have about 10 minutes of highlights (if that) every hour on sportscenter. It's become the TMZ of sports, something I am just not interested in. I can get my highlights pretty easily now from youtube and other areas of the internet - there's no reason for me to tune into ESPN now.

Same here. I used to watch SportsCenter Morning & Night for highlights etc. Now I can see highlights almost as they happen. There are so many forms of media available that waiting for 6pm SportsCenter for highlights is almost like waiting for the morning newspaper to see scores.
