There is no bazemore/Hunter/Freeman. Jordan baker got the ball with the game on the line. That pretty much says it all for me.

I agree in essence Jordan Baker is our senior leader but he isn't the type of player that can fill that role. Hearing Brandon on post game he has the mentality to take the reins and power to put the team on his back - too bad it may not happen in due time.

I think you were right. It is time to put him in the starting lineup and get him off and running right from the start. Same goes with Branden.

How do we have a division 1 power forward that plays 31 minutes and scores 2 points??? I don't care that Denzel Taylor is a role player he needs to go...the defense only has to cover 4 players on the court when he is in there!

A few too many players lacked focus which caused careless turnovers . That combined with a amped up sparked run by FAU we got caught with our pants down and the lack of focus didn't send the right message to pull em back up soon enough.

We can try to come up with all sorts of explanations, but we've seen too many of these games this year.

At this point in the season, it's no longer a fluke. It's who we are.

No!!!!!!! In the second half there is no way the defense played well enough to win. He**, they didn't even play well enough to hold onto a 15 point lead in the second half at home, or to keep FAU from destroying them from the 3 point arc.

Sure they might have gotten the win if the offense had done more, but still, the second half defense was plenty bad too.

I think you were right. It is time to put him in the starting lineup and get him off and running right from the start. Same goes with Branden.

Talley was awful tonight. Poor shooting, poor passing, poor decision making with the ball - running over people at least a couple of times, dribbling the ball out of bounds while under token pressure. He probably got more minutes as it was then he earned tonight.

Zoran Talley has lost any credibility bball wise. He has no feel for the game and single handily lost this game in the final minutes

Driving home from the game I realized I wasn't particularly upset. I've kind of given up on this team and fully expect games like this.
We will not go to the NCAA's next year, we probably won't win either the conference race or tourney. We may see marginal improvement next year, but not enough to matter.

I mean, I wouldn't say we suck, more like mediocre, but nonetheless, we are who we are. I just have a hard time believing that the talent level is where a lot of folks think it is. In fact, I think the talent level compared to the rest of the conference puts us right where we probably are 4th-6th in the conference.

Blaine used to play in rockfights, but this is just ugly bad basketball.

We are not going to be an NCAA tourney team playing ugly disjointed basketball against awful basketball teams.

Serious question for you Razor: given your comments over the years, if you had to choose between the two (and only these two) would you rather have Blaine Taylor coaching ODU or Jeff Jones? No caveats allowed (e.g. "I would take Blaine before he had personal problems arise, etc...).

I know you didn't ask me, but I would take BT any day. And I felt about the same way about him as Razor.

In the 24th best conference!

I am very disappointed with the lack of progress with the program. Every year it is one bad thing or the other...and every year we are told how much better things will be the next year...and they don't get better. The game day atmosphere is non existent and student attendance and participation is atrocious. "Woody can you hear me?"

Sick of games like this. I hope we don't pay our way into some crappy C- tournament this season, even if we get a chance. Underachievers shouldn't play in March. Win CUSA or stay home and try again next year.
