True. I am not happy with it, but no one expected better than that this year. We are definitely in a lull after the deterioration over the last couple of years, but it will take a little time to get it back where we want to be.

Last year, we were #2 team in state. Of course we were #75 in the country.

Year before, we were #3 in state. #90 in nation.

Is that better or worse?

How can we punish Tubby to make him understand that he has fallen short of expectations? What is our recourse? I guess someone just needs to key his car, instead of firing him. That would make him understand how important size is in recruiting, he obviously doesn't get the connection between a players height and rebounds. You would think he would know that by now? I mean after all he is a HOF coach. So if he understands tall players are needed to get rebounds, and has not acquired tall players, the love of golf MUST be the reason. If golf is more important to him than recruiting tall players, then he must be fired. I don't think keying his car will be enough to break the Tubster of his addiction to golf. Firing is the only answer. We would be performing a service, since this would make Tubby understand the importance of tall people in basketball. This understanding would help him in his next job as a coach at a lesser school, or as a TV analyst. We would be performing a service.

MTSU may roll through CUSA this year. They had a couple of bad OOC losses, but have done pretty well otherwise.

I'd say they have the best shot at making the NCAA. We would have the 2nd best chance. UTK and Vandy have virtually no chance. Although I hear UK did lose their PG this weekend.
