I don't think anything would've been different had Campbell been in. Ohio has failed to score 60 at least half of the time since Murphy came to EMU.

It's been a while since we won a game we should've lost against a team that wasn't NIU. Awful offensive performance, but we were everywhere on defense. Did Ohio score any points in the paint in the 2nd half? I don't think they did.

there was a goaltending call on Nobles and a BS foul on Steele. those are the only points in the paint that i can remember for Ohio in the second half. our defense was much better in the second half.

Ty was huge today. We really missed his ability to get to the basket.

I'm still stunned we pulled that off with both Thompson and Steele on the bench for the last 7 minutes of the game. Madray had a very good game as well. Lots of things that won't be seen on the stat sheet.

i thought Timmy was a little off today, but 13 pts, 7 rebounds and some steals and assists is nice. maybe it'smore that he has improved his game (and therefore expectations) than it was him having an off night.

I jumped so high when Bond drilled that 3 I think my head left a dent in the ceiling.

I see this team, like all, is having primary and complimentary scoring threats.

E.g., Nobles is a complimentary threat. He does best when he gets the ball say on a kick out, etc.

I see Bond as also a complimentary scoring threat. Ditto Nobles.

JT4 and Lee (and Mangum) are primary scoring threats. Tough to win without them.

EMU seems to have had good luck with the opposing teams best player not being available for their game.

Regardless, this was a valuable game for EMU to get a win out of.
