Rice hosting MTSU and UAB next week - could be real interesting to see how those turn out.

Wow. Impressive road win for Rice. Congrats, Rice fans.

I honestly think this conference is MTSU's to lose. I think Rice and maybe ODU are the only other two legit contenders. UAB has been a terrible disappointment. Losing Norton was huge but we still shouldn't be this bad. We will be lucky to finish in the top 4.

I think Marshall may have something to say about that..... I mean MTSU is the leagues best team but marshall should end up close behind them.

Winning ugly has become a bad habit for us.

Next Thursday's game at Marshall will probably be more of a test than we are ready to handle. I hope I'm wrong on that, and we somehow manage to bring the Herd down to our level of play.

Every thing updated... Quote of the night from the FAU announcer, with 3:12 left after a basket: "FAU now within 19, can they come back".

Charlotte laid a huge turd tonight at home. White and Ogbueze combining for 2 points is never going to get it done for us. In good news, Davis seems ok after injuring his ankle and touted Freshman Quentin Jackson following up a 17pt performance vs NT with 19 tonight.

USM is probably the worst team in the country. Our only win in D1 was against the lowest ranked team, #351. They would probably beat us 3 out of 5.
We know it will get better, because it can't get worse.

Shhhhh... Let everyone sleep on us. No need to go around stirring the pot any 05-stirthepot.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, Marshall isn't really that good. Now on with the regularly scheduled programing.

We played some solid defense, but Charlotte couldn't get anything to fall even when they got open. Some sloppy play all around (FT, anyone?) but no complaining from me with the 89-70 road win.

MTSU is next up for our home conference opener and I think we are finally ready for that one...

Next week? Those games are this coming Thursday (day after tomorrow) and Saturday. Unfortunately, with classes not starting until next Monday, the student section is likely to be sparse.

It's awesome to see so many fan bases dialed in this early in conference play. Imagine if Southern Miss and UTEP weren't down this season.
