It's certainly more fun for him to do than to think about ECU's football program right now. The 3-9 Pirates are currently ranked 109th in CBS 128, two spots ahead of UNC Charlotte. They did beat NC State this year, so they are probably content with that.

Their basketball program is even worse. The Flying Lebos are 8-5 and have an RPI of 220. Compare that to Marshall's 7-5 record and an RPI of 107. And win or lose tomorrow night, Marshall's RPI will go up while playing Pitt.

There was an ECU troll on the CUSA board right before the season begin. At the time Lebo entered the season at 101-101. There was an ODU poster that went through Lebo's 6 seasons at ECU and found that 62 of Lebo's 101 wins were against the SWAC, ASUN, MAAC, NEC, MEAC and Big South.

You can now up that to 69. Seven of ECUs eight wins this year come from those conferences:

Grambling State (SWAC)
North Carolina A&T (MEAC)
Stetson (ASUN)
Florida AM (MEAC)
Hampton (MEAC)
North Carolina Central (MEAC)
Presbyterian (Big South)

Their other win came against Air Force who is 7 and 6 but only have 4 DI wins. They have played 3 NAIA or lower schools.

Yep,lots of flaws. Interesting though that ECU was invited to AAC and Marshall wasn't. Guess Marshall has even bigger issues than ECU. Your stuck in a conf making 200,000 witb yhe majority of yiur games on the Bein network. Think i will take all of Ecu's issue and rhe AAc than Marshall in Cusa.

But please keeo pointing out how much ECU sucks. Its quite entertaining.

I love how all AAC arguments have now gone to "But I see your school sucks/didn't get invited to AAC"

Pretty entertaining stuff... [Image: popcorn-and-drink-smiley-emoticon.gif]

Is it really trolling though when their argument is so idiotic that no one believes them anyway?

Some of the people on the board are trolling however some that aren't trolling actually believe they are P6 due to being left behind by the Big East split.

I think our top teams are doing as well as other top g5s the only reason they dont break into the rankings is the old perceptions not lack of quality seasons

ECU was invited 1st just like they were to CUSA as a FOOTBALL ONLY. ECU was not invited to the AACk until the "Big East" basketball schools laughed at this new alignment and said "No Thanks", and then turned around and said we own the rights to the "Big East" name and we will take it with us.

And every thing you said still doesn't explain how 67% of your wins come against the NEC, MAAC, MEAC, SWAC and Big South. In your 3rd game of the year against Charlotte you had 2 6'10 and a 7'1 kid on the floor and got out rebounded by 12 with the tallest on Charlotte that night 6'7. A 6'4 guard out rebounded your 3 tallest players by 2 just by himself 14-12.

Your lil TV deal means absolutely nothing when you suck at both Football and basketball. You don't have the talent on either to compete. Those are just the facts. Jeff Lebo and Scottie Montgomery both suck as HCs.

Come 2020 when your TV deal is up and you get even less money than you did this time is when I think you start to hear whispers from UConn, Cincy and maybe even Memphis about moving their basketball and Olympic sports to the BE and hang their football out to the indy gods. At that time the AACk will be screwed.

As much as Cincy and UConn want out and on a P5 (Not 6) the B12 isn't expanding anytime soon (GOR and TV Deal set till 2026) and just like WVU the triangle will never accept UConn. So neither of those are an option for them.

Okay keepn telling yourself this. You probably have to considering Marshall is mainly on Bein tv. At the end of the day all of those schools voted ECU in the AAc. Marshall was left out for.lots of reasons. Marshall a good program but not quite as good as Ecu.

Enjoy watching Ecu play the majority of its football and basketball games on Espn. Maybe you can root for us and adopt the Pirates as your tv team.

Can't speak for Marshall, but App played five of 13 games on national TV and four more on regional. Of course it helps when you make a bowl game too.

Guessing you wish ECU was in the Sunbelt. Afterall, you keep crying on the AAC board that non member posters only hang out on a board because they wish their school was part of that conference. Just fill out your application for the Sunbelt and we will let you know. In a few years or so.

Every Marshall game was televised someway. Not that it was that enjoyable this year. Marshall basketball has had 3 TV broadcasts already and entering conference play we will have 10 of our conference games broadcast.

I used to root for ECWho, but now I just root for Greenville NC to burn to the ground or a sinkhole swallow them whole. The same way I rooted for the Russell Athletic Bowl earlier (Miami vs wvu).

ECWho has reached its ceiling, it will never be in the B12, ACC and your BE invite you had been praying for 24 years was them just laughing at you.

So the AAC's two bowl wins are a 55-10 win from a 10-2 tulsa against 6-6 MAC and a 46-39 OT win from 10-2 USF against a 6-6 SEC team which basically handed USF the win at the end.
