Thank you for setting me straight. You AAC boys really are better than the rest of us G4 posters. Much smarter.

That fact that you've made twenty plus posts on our board today tells me you do care. I can be honest and admit that the way UH' s season ended has gutted me. It would gut any fan. I hope you guys cap off your season with a win and I hope Fleck gives you guys a few more seasons. I also hope you never have to watch your HC quit on your team mid-season.

Merry Christmas to you too!
Lol. Ok. I'll follow your lead. We are all G5's. let's get back to getting after the P5s.

no, you and the MAAC are G4.....

The AAC is P6.

Sorry to ruin your world view, jr.

The funny thing is that you are a Cincinnati guy shaking your fist with your stupid assertion. Cincinnati! Hahahaha. You aren't power anything dude. If they had a W1, representing the weakling 1, Cincinnati would be in it.

But AAC is only referred to as a P6 by a few slow folks on this forum. And so far the best G5 has been the sunbelt, which owns the AAC. And I mean in a BIG way it owns you.
Low-key the worst team in the Sun Belt also beat Ohio on the road. So they kinda own y'all too.

The SBC has a couple of good teams but they are 2-5 vs AAC and 28-38 vs G5 in past 4 years. Now they are 10-10 vs the MAC.

Georgia Southern losing Fritz derailed the Belts opportunity to pull even with the MWC in football and surpass C-USA (which happened anyway)and MAC (without App the Belt would still be well below them).

I admit I have become fixated on checking your board. But you are right, I should stop. I'll work on it.

Since you are an Army fan too....I'll bite. This conference board is different than any other because it's such a homer board love fest. it's like the games where you hear the SEC SEC SEC chants and see conference t shirts. Instead of hating each other, the fans on here love each other....with ONE exception: ECU. ECU is hated on here. Other than that, the majority of fans on here love each other. Imagine if Michigan fans rooted for Ohio St for the good of the conference? If you can, that's this board with the exception of ECU who gets mocked after every loss and ignored after every win. The original CUSA had more long term rivalry games and had a tighter geographic footprint which was why I liked it better than this set up as far as the "college football traditional feel"...a few more years and maybe the house will settle a little.
Cheers!

No, I think the fans of other teams like ECU. I think we mostly hate you. I root for ECU to win often, the problem is they seldom accomplish anything worth rooting for in football and never in bball. What's the old saying "If you have nothing good to say then don't say nothing ". Maybe you should try it.05-nono

ECU has more wins vs P5 bowl teams than Memphis in a 3 win season.

ECU always gets wins vs P5 teams. Every season, even in a terrible one like this. Also, no team has more true P5 home games on future schedules than ECU. Home and Home. Usually 3 a year, but 4 in the CUSA days was common. And that continues on in the future as it's getting harder and harder to get the "power schools" to play on your on campus stadium.
Cheers!

No offense to my ECU mates. I root for you guys all the time, and yes you all do get good wins. When I say "accomplish anything " actually referring to also stringing together the wins around the big games in order to get the all important national attention. I happen to think y'all got a good coachand in two years you very well be in the access bowl race. I'll be very nervous about playing you guys once you get it going. Billybobby I think you are dead ass wrong about ECU being hated on this board. It's our dipshit posters that act like we're Alabama and talk down about the other posters teams and schools that are hated. I don't like some of our posters for that very reason. What have we done to warrant that kind of attitude? Not a damn thing. Football attendance is not a championship sport. And our basketball is high school level. Better to give credit where its due and behave with some class because there are some fine football programs in this conference that are kicking the **** out of us on a lot of levels. 04-cheers

Crabs in a bucket, huh? You'd think you'd be rooting for other G5 teams to break up the college football alliance since you support a non-power team.

Now the part about that pessimistic troll I meant04-cheers

You respond to my post with something nice about ECU, then you remind me that you meant what you said which was "we mostly hate you" and call me a pessimistic troll? Why are you trolling me? And again I ask who is this "we" that hates me? You've only been on this board a few months.

Cheers!

04-cheers

Oh we've sucked the past couple of years. No doubt about it. We've always sucked at basketball no doubt about it. Baseball is strong and Football is usually strong despite this down period. I'm talking about headlines like "Houston attendence is 2nd best in non-power conference" threads. That's a slight on ECU. ECU is first in attendance this year, like every year. It's about giving credit when credits due. No need to omit or gloss over ECU's achievement in categories. But it's only a few fans now who slight ECU, and you are right, most on here are fair. My bad for being dramatic.
Cheers!
