There is no denying most of the G5 teams would like to be in the AAC from their current conference. But the FACT is.....even were they to get an invite and join they would STILL be in what the NCAA calls a G5 conference. No matter how much you AAC quacks want to think otherwise and call it a P6.

Yes. I also believe your conference schedule is easy and that you wouldn't have finished undefeated in the American, but your team is having a special year. I just hope you guys aren't the reincarnation of the 2012 NIU team. You guys would definitely have been in our upper third and competed for the conference championship.

No I said you guys were better this year, just that you play in an easy conference. If you played in AAC you would inevitably have to play some tough road games so I don't think you would go undefeated. Think about like this. BSU imo was the best team in the MWC but they played Wyoming on the road and lost by 2 points. Therefore they didn't get the chance to play for their championship. Imo the MAC didn't have another noteworthy team. Do you disagree?

You guys don't have the best resume but you won out and thats hard to do. I also look at the margin of your victories and see a team that was clearly much better than the weak competition it played. As long as you guys play tough in the Cotton bowl than my perception of y'all isn't going to change. If y'all get smacked down then that would throw everything for a curve.

Ultimately I base my assessment of teams in what they do on the field but the composite rankings are nice to use as a reference.

The NFC East (a.k.a., the "NFC Least") has been considered the "easiest conference" in the NFL of late. Before that, we had the NFC Central ("the black and blue conference". Funny thing is, both of those conferences have won a great deal of national championships (a.k.a., the Super Bowl). Funny how that works, eh?

The real question is how long will the B12 be able to hold on to that #6 spot in the P6 before we just cut it down to P5/G5? When do they lose the Power moniker? Their champ lost to the AAC #4 team and lost badly. We've got to stop subsidizing these hanger ons

Pretty sure the guy who is "BC#1" is bi-polar... He swings from hating the conference to suddenly being the biggest proponent of the conference.

Not all of us. Well most of the mwc said no thanks and bsu and sdsu actually backed out because of loss of power status and tv $ but I'm sure cusa, Mac, and sun belt teams would love to join up.
