These refs have been AWFUL in the second half. On both ends.

Bradford has woken up. Now the season really begins! Tennessee, baby....Unless I'm mistaken, ETSU never let Morehead get any closer than 8. Really can't complain. 19 assists (Cromer 7; Bradford 6) on 26 baskets is pretty good.

On the other hand, Morehead got very aggressive in the second half, and outrebounded us 25-15. Jurkin and Banks with 1 each was all the offensive boards we got in the second half (not counting 2 team rebounds). While they had an amazing 13, to go with 12 defensive boards.
They outrebounded us by 8 for the game.

For those of you who like to nitpick the statsheet, knock yourself out. But remember ETSU led for 34-35 minutes at Miss St and for about 38 mins today. So in TWO ROAD WINS this week, thats about 90% of time and never trailed by more than 4 in either game....but you enjoy your fine-tooth comb...9-2

I'm pretty happy with their record at this point, but some would argue they should be 12-0 even though they've only played eleven games.

If someone gave me the option at the beginning of the year of being 9-2 going into the UT game, I would have taken it.

Yes, a couple of the teams we have played have not turned out to be as good as we thought (particularly Detroit) but pre-season I thought we would be 7-4 or maybe 8-3 right now. Can't complain about 9-2.

Exactly.

I agree that this is a good as we could have hoped to be at this point. We have a realistic chance of finishing the non-conference at 11-2.

Haha, well, you know who their president is....

We did get out-hustled in this game though. Had our shots not been falling, we would lose this game, and we've certainly had nights like that.

Out rebounded: 44-36
Turnovers: 11-17

This is something I'm sure coach will work on with them. You can't do this and still beat Tennessee.
