Impossible, the refs were out to get the Tigers.

"Camp Cal". We used to love that stupid term. Man, we were gullible
Camp Cal actually meant we were about to go into C-USA play and wear some teams out.

Actually, I was watching the game with a non-Tiger fan, one who laughs at me for blaming reffs, but he was truly appalled by the 'home cooking,' he called it, as he pointed out the way OK defenders were hanging on Dedric's arm. lol

Biggest difference i can see.
If they had shot their average I think they probably lose the game.

There's something to be said about overcoming the barrage of shots OU hit in the first part of the first half. Team didn't rattle and kept chipping away. No hero ball and they stayed with the offensive game plan. OU cooled and we also turned it up defensively in the 2nd half, partly cuz our guys weren't in foul trouble. It was more than just the FTs that won the game IMO. But yes they had to hit those and also make crucial plays in crunch time and OT.

The coach had nothing to do with this win. he made no adjustments at half. He just rolled the ball out there and the players just happened to make it happen.

Seriously though, while there were a few bad calls against us, the refs (correctly) calling that goal tending and not allowing that OU basket and ruling the foul was before the shot were big for us. Yes, they were just doing their jobs, but on the road we don't always get those calls.

Yup.
During the course of a game fans will complain about refs. Some posters jump on those fans that do so which doesn't make sense. Now if fans still blame refs after a game is over, then fire away.

If by gullible you mean we won big with a hired gun and didn't care then sure, we were gullible.
Camp Cal was when fans camped out in front of Cal's yard with signs urging him not to leave for KY.

First congrats to players/staff on this win!!!!! Kirk used to play some players the entire game except for a few minutes (Andre comes to mind). It can be done.

Tubby is a great coach. Time will be his biggest attribute in terms of proving that to some here. The guy is HOFer. Proud he is our coach.

DKJ Lawson at 45 and 30 may have had a bit to do with t as well. I bet they take over as the best rebounding duo in college ball after today.

Shot clock and 3 pointer changed all of that. Faster pace of play and floor is much more spread out.

I'd be surprised if this team doesn't run out of gas by February.

All Juniors and Seniors were still playing then; much better teams then than the freshman laden top ranked teams now.

I attribute KJ's outstanding play to Tubby's influence. He is much more patient this year. He has a lot of talent and when he plays within the system he has a tremendous impact on the game.
Tubby Smith is the real deal. I couldn't be happier that he is our coach.
