It doesn't but the fact that Briles is on campus wearing TU gear, and that we don't have an OC right now, and that they're old friends... makes it look like a possibility.

Tulsa would never hire a coach or consultant etc. with the baggage Briles has. Perception is reality. I am surprised any TU fan would want him.

Thank goodness the powers that be at TU would never allow it.

RE: Briles as Tul$a OC
So guilt by association means he should be barred from coaching?

Why can players get a pass for making mistakes but a coach can't?

And you're wrong. It's been under consideration for at least a month.

RE: Briles as Tul$a OC
Gross.

And why are you only talking about Briles' libel suit? He's individually named in a federal title IX suit. You can read the victims claims. She and her mother said they called him, emailed him, and even showed up to his office and were blown off. Ignoring is NOT the same thing as not knowing. If they called him, there will be records of it. I am sure the plaintiff's attorney fact checked those claims before going forward with filing in federal court.

If you're TU, why in the hell would you voluntarily bring that ***** cyst on campus? The multiple lawsuits will make things worse as the truth comes out. There's no "good" truth for Briles out there. He's either stupid or complicit.

lol...You do realize that Montgomery was around during some of the Baylor stuff being investigated. To be honest, I have a feeling its going to come out that this was way more about the Baylor administration than it ever was about Briles or any of his coaches. There were a ton of covered up rapes that had absolutely nothing to do with the football team. That makes me think it may have been a systemic attitude at the upper levels of the school that wanted that stuff hushed up and swept under the rug because it didn't fit the Baylor image. I mean---this is the same school that tried to cover up a murder---so its not that far fetched that they would try to deflect less obvious "he said/she said" allegations of rape where the evidence isn't as compelling as a dead body.

Ok. Just checking. Didn't seem credible. Maybe Tulsa can get Sandusky to coach defense on work release too.

There was sketchy report that he was walking around campus wearing Tulsa gear handing out candy to little boys. Im pretty sure I can post a link to an article that doesn't say anything about that.

I don't think Manson is available. He might have the only offense more killer than Tul$a's current one.
