SBC attendance mirrored the final standings pretty close.

AAC attendance seems to distinguish it from the rest of the G5, thus their effort to promote the idea of a P6. They aren't there but the certainly seem to have created some separation from the rest of the G5. How does the MW compare?

You find better numbers than the official ones and I'd use them. These are the official numbers so I used them

Yea. This is kind of like a comparison of stated athletic budgets. Interesting if you don't read too much into it.

Actually we had more than we reported for Troy. We really don't inflate our numbers. We don't scan all the tickets...

We drew flies to the Presbyterian Game we never wanted to schedule. 2 FCS home games...against teams we could care less about.. generates 11k attendance.

These metrics are interesting, but there's so much inflation and miscounting going on....you really can't use these numbers to show much.

Look at FIU's stadium (not to pick on them - but just to show them as an example that published official attendance numbers aren't really indicative of much more than how the various Athletic Departments count).

Yeah,I attended the Troy game and thought it was closer to 32-33K just eyeballin' it.

You would likely have the same impression at any Jags game as have many other visitors like yourself, and as do all of the locals. It's a well-known problem because the stadium isn't owned and operated by USA and scanning equipment is frequently out of operation and the city doesn't hold its employees accountable to do a manual count after each game for the thousands of non-scanned tickets like they should. USA may be the only FBS team who ONLY counts scanned tickets, which is why this is a continual and (again) a well-known problem amongst we Jags fans.

The good news is, we have an OCS in the planning stages and within a couple of seasons this should no longer be a problem for South.

Honestly, I don't believe a few of the numbers. EMU? Come on. No way they had that as an average. Watched a few of their games. Maybe 6-7 hundred in the stands a few games.

Adding CCU skews the data a little bit. We don't even have a 15,000 seat stadium yet and played nobodies all year.
