RE: See Ya Later Blake
what would be funny if he used the Baylor opening as leverage to get a bigger contract from Ark State, then he could be your coach forever , and ever and ever...

There's no chance of that happening. If he wants to go to Baylor, he's more than welcome.

If Blake wants an extension he just needs to win December 17th, gets an automatic extension for an 8th FBS win.

We never refer to him by name on our board, just as "The coach who never punts" Razorback fans bring him up for every opening here

We have a fun list on our board of stupid names that we recycle every year because some idiot registers to tell us how great a coach that is. I swear we go through so many coaches now that agents troll our message boards looking for potential that their guy could be brought up.

The Fun list:

The Coach who never punts

Tim Horton

Houston Nutt

Random Jonesboro High School Coach

Bob Stitt

Heard Harsin may be on Oregon's radar.

RE: See Ya Later Blake
Blake's reps apparently contacted Football Scoop and told them to shut up today. They posted a clarification reminding everyone that specific language in BA's contract requires him to notify Arkansas State before beginning negotiations with another school. Essentially they said that Anderson's reps were the ones talking to Baylor, and reminded us all that many times schools begin contract negotiations with a coach and they fall through.

We know Anderson was indeed a finalist because he never refuted the rumors.

Anderson's released quote today. "If my name is not out there we obviously are not winning enough football games. If a school comes along that myself, my wife, and we as a staff should consider, we certainly will."

In other words, Please Hire me...someone...pretty please. I'll be good.

Very strange move for Rhule. He could have probably had the jobs at Maryland, Rutgers, or Syracuse last year and instead he only interviewed at Missouri so he could leverage it for a raise. And then he settles for the job at a dumpster fire like Baylor? I can only assume they threw huge money at him.

Maryland, Rutgers, and Cuse aren't exactly great jobs.

I'm sure BA wishes he had taken his job a little more seriously.

To be fair, he is the first coach in a long time here to be considered for a job and get to give the "I'm staying" tweet.

It's hilarious though because he is well aware there is a portion of our fan base that would help him pack if he got another job.
