Why would you take pleasure from someone else's misery, even if you don't agree with their business strategy? They are just people trying to make it in the world like the rest of us.

I don't take pleasure in what happened to them.... It's just not surprising given how difficult it is to make a restaurant work when you have two hands... But when you tie them behind your back for the sake of a political ideology it's amazing they made it five years. The food must have been very good.

I take great pleasure any time anyone who idolizes murdering communists like Che and Mao has an idea fall flat on it's face because it's good for the world when people who think like that fail.

Ideas inspired by murderers like Che and Mao? You ******* right it's good.

and ironic you jump the shark and make the last statement when it's a known fact that people who didn't think like Che and Mao ended up dead. Che preferred terminal cases of ballistic trauma administered either by firing squad or personally from a .32 caliber pistol shot to the back of the head. Mao just starved his opponents.

The danger to our nation of failed vegan restaurant owners that draw murals of bygone communist dictators is real. We have to establish a safe place for conservatives that feel threatened and must insist that political correctness be observed! The struggle is real!04-cheers

Restaurants open and close all the time..tough business to be successful in.

Their glorifying of Che and Mao is likely ignorance of exactly what those guys did to "achieve" their utopia. It's particularly telling that the only way to impose those ideas was via brute force and the fact that their revolutions only succeeded in making everyone's lives miserably poor and sh!tty.

Franky, I could care less how a business decides to pay their employees, but no one survives in this market if service and wait times are crap - which apparently had a lot to do with their demise.

Hopefully some lessons were learned and people got a real taste of true economics. Plus the world is a better place with one less vegan restaurant.

Do I trust the millions of restaurant professionals who have closed restaurants, or an ultra-conservative internet loudmouth with no skin in the game??

Hmmm...

Close to 60% of restaurants fail the first year. It is a tough business to get into and keep going and almost 80% fail within 5 years. It is though mostly due to poor location. Good location is key to success.
