Thursday:

South Florida at Troy
Georgia Southern at Savannah State
Panhandle State (Non D1) at Texas State
Nichols State at Louisiana

Friday:

NO GAMES

Saturday:

UL Monroe at Chatanooga
NC Asheville at Coastal Carolina
Louisiana at McNeese State
UT Arlington at North Texas
Western Carolina at Appalachian State
Tulsa at Little Rock
Arkansas State at TCU
Middle Tennessee State at South Alabama

Sunday

Florida Gulf Coast at Georgia Southern
Georgia State at Mississippi State
Alabama State at Troy

Monday:

Piedmont International (Non D1) at Coastal Carolina
UT Dallas (Non D1) at UT Arlington

Tuesday:

NO GAMES

Wednesday:

Loyola (LA) (NON D1) at Louisiana
Texas State at UT Rio Grande Valley

Winners in bold, would have liked to see Troy pull that one out against an AAC team.

do yall think we go 5-3 or better for Saturdays games as a conference? i think we have a good chance. this weekend has the potential to mean a lot for the conference, and how its viewed the rest of the season. this is the type of weekend that committee members think about when deciding if a conference deserves multiple bids.

I like the chances of ULM, LA, and a big upset by Little Rock* a lot. I like A-St and UTA to get us to five. I don't know enough about the other teams to make a guess.

* Tulsa is always so good you'd think any SBC win would be an upset.

Apps drop a home game to 2-5 Western Carolina 58-53, shot 17% in the second half. Likely another long season ahead.

Mixed bag so far

Arlington beat The State University of North Texas State by 16
Little Rock beat Tulsa by 10
Cajuns blew the doors off McNeese

However:

Chatanooga beat ULM by 30
App loses to Western Carolina
Coastal loses at home to NC-Asheville

AState and USA both tip in a couple hours.

Some still believe they are 1970's upper echelon in all sports. I'm just giving them their due.

Jags down 7 to MTSU at the half, 31-24, which is remarkable considering MTSU went on a 24-2 run. Maybe we will have better shooting luck at the other basket. Nothing was falling into this one.

And stAte down 29-30 at the half to TCU. The conference needs both of these. And I really want this one for South, I don't like losing to CUSA teams.

We started real slow, did well to turn a 10 point game to 1 at half

Good game Jags; riddled with turnovers and scoring droughts but still competitive. Good luck the rest of the way!

You guys are now 8-1(I think) and made the second round last year. You're a good team, I wanted the win but it's a "good loss".

Good luck to you guys, hate losing to you still.

Yeah, shooting bit us at the end as well. Had it within 5 points, and then TCU went on a crazy run to end the game.

One of UL's wins is vs a non-D1. Panhandle State. So 5-2 vs D1's.

TXST lost to 3-8 UT-RGV tonight.

We're likely to dwell at the bottom of the conference this year. Need a new AD badly.

Remember analogies from the SAT' s?

Appalachian State : Basketball :: Texas State : Football

I hope the team proves me wrong. It would be so nice to see a competitive product on the floor. I do think Jim Fox is a good coach, but he has such an uphill battle in Boone
