Yeah, 7-1 State at 7-0 TCU is another big game Saturday. We've got a few coming up this week.

Great win considering how many 3s SSU hit in the first half

Horrible first half...very sloppy play along with free throw shooting killed our chances in this game.03-banghead

Well, UT took down Alabam by 9 tonight. Does that mean UTA is better than Alabama?

Can't hurt that RPI, either.

I'm not sure it means much period, Alabama isn't exactly setting the world on fire so far this season.

Not minimizing the win, but has Alabama ever been good at basketball? Back in the Bear Bryant days when basketball and football scholarships were allocated under the same umbrella, they allocated all the scholies to FB. The rules may have changed, but the mindset hasn't.

They have had their moments. With the hire of Avery Johnson, they are trying to right that ship. Also recent renovations to the basketball arena. But became a Texas fan last night because of that UTA win last week. The SBC has had good OOC showing so far this year. Maybe this will be the year we break that ceiling and get three teams dancing.

No doubt the hiring of Avery Johnson was a screwed move on their part.

do yall think we go 5-3 or better for Saturdays games as a conference? i think we have a good chance. this weekend has the potential to mean a lot for the conference, and how its viewed the rest of the season. this is the type of weekend that committee members think about when deciding if a conference deserves multiple bids.
