That was said along with some Houston fans complaining of being in a perceived weaker West with the 3 privates and Memphis and Navy. My my how things work out sometimes. Makes for a good, entertaining conference for sure.

For the East to be strong, then three of UCF, USF, ECU, Temple and Cincy need to be Top 40ish.

This year, only two of them were.

UConn's a basketball school that hasn't peed a drop in football since Edsall left. So they are excused.

But there is no excuse for Cincy, ECU and UCF to have the dropoffs they've had.

It changes thru times. USF and Temple look to be strong again next year. UCF is improving and should also be good.
ECU will bounce back
UC has talent needs a new coach
UConn, I like Diaco but I'm starting to believe he is not going to work out there.
