Wow. There are some on here who would aspire to be rivals with Liberty, and fast-path upstart Coastal can't wipe them off their shoes fast enough.

I remember how trashy and dirty the LU players were playing against us in 2014, especially near the end when a win was in sight. They had so many late hits that the officials couldn't be bothered to throw a flag for. They were committing pass interference on nearly every passing play, with no calls of course.

I forget his number, but one LU defender was taunting and borderline fighting on every single play in the fourth quarter. I may only be slightly exaggerating haha.

Liberty's coach, Turner Gill, finished the season 6-5. He makes $750K a year (total compensation) equaling about $125K per win.

Compared to Houston's $300K, I'd say we got the better investment by far. With his (presumably) 10th win of the year... we are paying $30K per win.

and just for fun... Everett Withers at Texas State has a $650K salary. With likely a 2 win season that equals $325K per win.
