Not sure about that. The games I watched UL turned it over several times. UH could bank on 2 with their defense.

tulane injured ward bad last game and also took out our backup qb for the year..ward will play but will be injured... beyond that we are surprisingly healthier than we have been all season
our defense will almost be at full strength for the first time since before the navy game
crazy stat:
tyus bowser (missed 6 games), currently 3rd in the AAC in sacks
steven taylor (missed 2 games) currently 4th in the AAC in sacks
im cautiously optimistic about our defense..
Na'ty rodgers has been cleared to played (our best Guard), our oline play has been borderline horrific since his injury ucf/tulane/smu looked like they had a bama dline , hell tulane took out 2 qb in 1 game..hopefully his return makes a huge impact there... 2 WR will miss the game because of concussions if they arent cleared by tomorrow..likely wont be ..
overall i feel weirdly optimistic about this game
Update: 1 of the WR was cleared (our fastest WR)
outside of ward playing injured and no backup qb, we look pretty healthy for the game
Dynamic are in Houstons favor. A relatively fresh and motivated Houston team, on senior night. Lamar Jackdon plays his worst game, trying to impress heisman voters. Houston puts up 55 on a Loiseville team that falls apart in the third quarter.

There was Cincinnati but you obviously mean Bobcats for the second one, Texas State Bobcats. UH didn't play Sam Houston (and thank God, they could beat the majority of FBS on the right day).

I know a lot of the attention will be on Ward and whether or not our D can contain Jackson but I think the real key to victory will be our run game. We have to find some way to establish the run in order to take a little pressure off Ward's arm, open up the field, and more importantly, control the clock. That was what we were able to do against OU but we haven't too success running the ball throughout most of the season. To top it off this will be the best defense we'll see for a while. Its entirely possible that we go out and play our best game of the season and still lose but I still like our chances. One things for certain, we have to win the turnover battle. No way we can beat this team if Ward goes out there under pressure, makes a bad read, and throws a pick.
Louisville has been turning the ball over too much and if you make us pay for it with TDs, it could be a long night for the Cards. And our pass rush has not been very strong lately and those are the keys in my opinion. Louisville needs to cut down on the turnovers and get pressure on Ward or its going to be too close for comfort.

lucky for you everyone has destroyed our Oline the past few games.. our oline has been injured and smu/tulane/ucf have looked like bama's dline against our oline, hell tulane badly injured 2 of our qbs of pass rushs last game. and we handed the ball of the entire second half of that game because we were up big and were worried about getting more injuries
we get a few of the OLine back, hopefully that makes a difference

Your right ! I got Lamar mixed up with ole Sam houston
i probably wont be able to comment till after the game, becuase ill be busy prior and when the stadium, and the sellout games tend to have horrific wifi connection
so ill do my analysis now..
we gave jackson his worst game last year (technically worst of his career) and what played into that in my opinion is our crazy defense that blitz from every direction, & disguises everyone..playing against us is a bit more a mental challenge..jackson is a freak athlete but he isnt mentally taking apart defenses yet.. and our best 2 pass rushers who were injured most of the season have returned
i also think lousiville being mad about the rankings plays into our advantage (even though everyone thinks the opposite), when you are playing a good team that you are better than, you should play your regular game as that is what got you there. but UL is clearly mad, tons of their players complained about the rankings on twitter. i think they will come in trying to do too much (to make a point) versus a team that can beat them, that could play in our advantage
i feel wierldy optimistic about our defense slowing them down, i think the game will come down to ward
im not crazy to think a run game that hasnt been there all season will magically appear for Louisville
the run game that has been there all season is ward running, UL is going to bring crazy blitzs themselves and ward on the mental side is a lot more advanced that jackson, hopefully he can see the run lanes from the blitzs and take off, or hit them in the soft spots
hoping for some game magic

Houston very well can win the game....but highly doubt anyone drops 55 on the Louisville defense...
My honest opinion, is that we have to hope Louisville plays us like they played Marshall in the first half of their game.
I think we can pass on Louisville but our O-line is so bad, we will not have the time to do so.
I honestly do not think that we can hold a motivated Louisville offense at all. One of our cornerbacks (no. 6 I believe) has been getting smoked all year and I do not see that changing tonight.
I think Louisville wins tonight and it could be ugly how they do it.
