We Can Still Get 7 Teams Bowling
Let's all root for this scenario. All just for fun of course.
Week 11 -
UL-Lafayette over Georgia Southern
Arkansas State over NMSU
Idaho over Texas State
Week 12 -
South Alabama over Presbyterian
Georgia Southern over Georgia State
Week 13 -
UL-Lafayette over Arkansas State
Week 14 -
South Alabama over New Mexico State
Georgia Southern over Troy
UL-Lafayette over UL-Monroe
Arkansas State over Texas State
In this scenario:
1. Troy is already IN
2. App State is already IN
3. Idaho gets the 1 win they need
4. Arkansas State gets the 2 wins they need
5. Georgia Southern gets the 2 wins they need
6. South Alabama gets the 2 wins they need*
7. UL-Lafayette gets the 3 wins they need
We only require 3 upsets (according to the ESPN FPI) to make this happen. The rest are all favorites:
1. UL-Lafayette over Georgia Southern (17.4% chance)
2. UL-Lafayette over Arkansas State (31.3% chance)
3. Georgia Southern over Troy (38.8% chance)
*This also requires there to not be enough 6-6 teams with less than 2 FCS wins for South Alabama to get in at 6-6 (It is looking like they will be fine).

That aside, it's not completely out of the realm of possibility with GS new playcalling and ULL possibly giving ARKST fits. They are rivals of sorts.

Yep. The oddity would be GS losing to ULL, then turning around and beating Troy.

RE: We Can Still Get 7 Teams Bowling
There are obviously other scenarios that can get us to 7, but this is the one that requires the LEAST UPSETS. No matter what, the Cajuns are going to need to catch fire.

How about this one for all the Red Wolves in the audience:
Arkansas State and App State run the table, and UL-L gets its 3rd requisite win by beating Georgia instead of Arkansas State.

I'm indifferent. I've seen Georgia in person this year and they're awful. I wouldn't be shocked if anyone from the Belt knocked them off.
I would just rather App not run the table since I don't want to have a share of the title in his scenario.

Oh well. You all could have fun in New Orleans again and have Benson pissed that you can't win OOC games, further diminishing perception of the conference that really has a chance to put their foot on the door over C-USA.
Georgia Southern picked a bad season to have a bad season in my opinion. As far as outside perception is concerned, ASU really let the conference down again.

If i'm being honest, the way he struts around the sideline is almost as infuriating as watching a State game out of conference.

I'm honestly not sure. His "hitch" has been there from the beginning, like a turkey strutting across a field or something. Then you see the play on the field and realize that a turkey must have taken over play calling duties which explains why he's walking the way he is.

No the playcalling is not a "butterball," but a BusterBall.

None of that flavor is involved in the play I suppose. I enjoy Wild Turkey, both the liquid and solid, better than farm raised myself.

7-1, won't have to share a conference title with App, only second place with Troy.
