No idea whether you're being supportive of CJJ or sarcastic.

And that's the whole problem with Jones.

He has done a good job getting USA up and running. But its looking more and more like he can't get USA over the hump.

We probably won't replace him this year, unless we lose out. But next year, his seat will be hot.

Sarcastic... USA fans were wanting us to keep LB so returning the favor

It's better for both of us that he goes. He always plays a great game versus Troy, and he is a very mediocre coach in conference play. We would both benefit from CJJ leaving USA.

My patience is wearing very thin. I still think he deserves another year with a healthy team to show what he can do. Same results next year, I think then we will need to say thank you for all you have done, but it's time to hand off the torch.

I really don't care about the injuries, what bothers me is the penalties, every game, every year. To many!!! Committing to many penalties will keep the other team in a game, or keep you out of a game.

RE: USA at ULM game thread
Game management and penalties has been a problem. I think we were better solid program in the first couple of seasons. At least this year we haven't had as many drops. We have issues getting plays in to the qb even in no huddle. The final 2 minute drive against Troy was typical lack of clock management. Losses don't bother many too much either, I know when the other team is better. I just want the penalties to stop. We also need more creativity on offense, it seems we run about 10 plays. I think when we brought back our coach Vincent the offense would get better. I think we need to get back to huddling instead of look at sideline to get everyone on the same page. I think Joey has another year left on contract, but I don't know if they gave him extension when we made a bowl game a few years ago.

We really needed that game to have a real shot of making playoffs. We should beat Presp, lose to Idaho, and I don't know what will happen vs New Mexico State. I just don't know if we don't finish if the top 5 of the Sunbelt, that we should make a bowl.

I *think* we beat Presby and NMSU at home and lose to Idaho in Moscow. That gets us to 2-6 and 6-6 on the year. We will bowl only if there's less than 79 teams qualifying conventionally (Army is a lock to get to 6-6 with 2 FCS wins - and they'll certainly be picked before us). Right now, its 50-50.
