We've outscored them 52-10 since they went up 14-0. This team is resilient.

Took a knee on 1 yard line or we would have scored 60

What does it take to get your team to have 25,000 or more there? You guys are having a great season.

It's already been explained.... Troy is in the 2nd most rural place in FBS. Anything over 21k is good. There was as many people at this game as the entire county Troy is in.
We will probably have 23-25k with App

Troy, Alabama is less than an hour from Montgomery (pop. 200,000) and has about 18,000 people. Boone, NC is an 1.5 hours from Winston-Salem (pop. 250,000) and Charlotte (pop. 800,000) and has about 18,000 people. Troy University has approximately 20,000 students, while App has approximately 18,000. App regularly draws upwards of 23,000. Troy hovers around 20,000. Population and location isn't an excuse. Troy should be doing better attendance wise, so hopefully this season will give fans more of a reason to show up next year.

Main campus has 8,000 students
We also have Alabama and auburn right down the road to compete with
Even when we won 5 championships this is about what we averaged less even

Troy Trojans, through 4 home games, averaging 21,414 fans, which would be the most in school history.

Was close...
App - 34 Troy - 17. The curse of the one loss to Clemson has been given to Troy this season. Troy will have their worst offensive output of the year as this is the second beat defense they've played however they might be the best coached. Luckily Troy opened the door for other teams to try option routes so App has seen everything Troy runs in other teams.

RE: Troy vs UMASS Discussion Thread
Fans of teams outside of the great state of Alabama. It is hard almost impossible to get 25k to a FBS game that does not include a Tiger or a Tide. Since birth you are brainwash that those two schools are the only ones you care about. Its hard to explain unless you live here six plus months. Troy could win 332234890 games in a row but wouldn't avg 25k because they don't play in the SEC. Its what the G5 schools have to live with in this state. I'm not saying we are the only ones but we have two mini NFL type squads to deal with on Saturdays.
