No pillow fight when facing that GSU defense that is for sure.

I find this talent disparity discussion laughable for anyone that watched that game last night. GA St. was one player away, a QB, from winning that game. He was just terrible, and they still were in the game until Ark St. got a late TD from starting the drive on the 7.

That was the ugliest football game I've watched all year, luckily only the second Ark St. game I've watched (GS being the other). I'm not sure how you guys haven't lost a couple years off your lives this year watching your team.

But thanks for covering!

Well one thing is certain. Georgia State came out better prepared than AState did in the second half. Red Wolves squandered three chances to take the starch out of the Panthers in the first quarter and Georgia State squandered the opportunity to exploit that.

So we can all agree that there's plenty of suck to go around in the belt this year? 04-cheers

I'm not sure ULL is a gimmie. They certainly weren't against us. They're 2 OT losses away from being 5-3 and 3-1 in the conference.

Especially when you do not have to play that talent.

Obviously there are other factors other than talent involved in any game, and I confess figuring that out is above my head and I defer to those that know more than I do, but having more talent is normally a good thing.

There is a growing consensus that only reason A-State is beating anyone under Blake Anderson is they have more talent than most of the teams they have played, which is every SBC team.

They have not pulled many surprises under Anderson, and I get the impression that most people associated with their program now realize he is a work in progress, and I think they are trying to help him overcome some shortcomings.

If attendance last night plus performance doesn't get a few people fired I do not know what Becker and the Foundation are looking at as an end game.

It certainly wasn't pretty but defense and special teams are able to come up with big plays to help carry our sputtering offense

Problem is those OT losses were to Tulane and NMSU. Both teams they had no business losing too.

Only Troy determines if we share a title this year or not.
