No doubt. Two coaches from some of the most fertile schools in the state and lots of ties to N Fla, and SC. We should make inroads to guys in S Ga that don't quite make the FSU\UF cut.

One of the guys is a very good three star get that had been committed to Miss St at one point the other not even ranked. We need some help getting this to be a clear best class. The recommit I don't think was ever taken off our lists.

We have been high 80's low 90's in the national rank most years. If he gets us in the 70's you starting to scratch P5 territory. We will see. I think the winning, playing time and location are by far the most important things kids consider. I don't think good programs have to depend on the coaches too much or it is overblown. I don't think there is too much room left for this staff to make a significant impact on this class but next year will be interesting. Right now on 247 we are 87th and fell behind ArkSt but I don't think the three star O line guy is in there yet. The decommits stung a little.

Quite a few schools have 2 offensive coordinators. You'll see them listed as passing game coordinator and running game coordinator. I believe several P5's do it this way. Also means we can have one in the booth and one in the sideline. The role of play calling on gameday will be predetermined. I don't really see an issue here.

From what I understand, Mrs. Taaffe wasn't too keen on him coming out of retirement.

Ol Tyson doing a solid job recruiting so far. Got 3 commits today so far with 2 of them being 3 stars. One guy was pretty highly sought after from Texas. I love getting recruits when guys have offers from school like Boise and ecu

Well, pretty much none of the coaches in our conference are household names.

This, lawd if you get a big name coach its probably some really old dude like Solich.

Dont like the hire off the bat. I was not big on hiring a DC with P5 experience now we got one with only two years of G5 experience. I just dont get hiring a coordinator over proven winner HC's that have already been coordinators but to each his own.

The OC he hires will be the most crucial part of all this. I would think TK knew who the likely OC was going to be before the ink was dry. I also dont know why we don't know who it is yet. I would hate to think we did some overnight hire and now scrambling to fill out the rest of the coaches. If this does not work out this is the kind of hire an AD has nothing to fall back on the justification for the hire. His resume is relatively short no P5 experience and no HC experience. Hope he does not pull a VanGorder but as of now this is a dice roll hire until we find out who the OC is.
