Exacty. Heck, we can speculate about bowl opponents, going 11-2 again, or whatever as long as the coaches and players don't.

As for next week, I hope to see 40+ points on the bord for App and around 300 rushing yards. Can't let up and if anything they should be more motivated considering how close the past two years have been.

To be fair, they were facing the coaching and scheme equivalent of a 7th grade football team on offense last Thursday.

I do think their D is pretty good, just don't read too much into it from that game is all.

we're good, best in the SBC, but he is right, we aren't that good, a lot of help for the GS offense that night

An anemic panther offense, McGuire playing while injured, and Favion Upshaw out of the game, all made a great defense look like gods. I'm curious to see what APP can do against a fully stocked TROY offense that's firing on all cylinders. The most masterful performance by APP was probably against an Idaho offense that had some momentum going into the game. APP truly has a great defense, but as you've said they've gotten some help along the way. Offensively and defensively I think our teams will balance out for a close game.

I have watched GS football for 18 years and this is the worst offense I have seen. The VanGonad offense at least had the excuse of going to a completely new system.

I get what you're saying. I do think ULL, GSU, and GS might not be good offensive football teams at this point considering injuries and what they are. That said, it's still impressive to do what the APPs have done no matter the competition. They were able to shut down a pretty decent Idaho offense and that's what has me more worried than the other three games. I think we're a bit better offensively than Idaho, but the concern is that its possible APP can shut down anyone at this point if we believe the Akron and Miami games are behind them. They may not need much of an an offense to win the rest of their games, including their bowl game.

Troy is alitte different animal, we do really well against speed offenses, because we move so well side line to side line, your not going to outrun us, but we're small, and we tend to have problems with teams who pound us inside, Troy has the big back, if they give him the ball enough he should have a good day. The key to this game is both teams are really good defending the redzone, whoever settles for field goals is probably going to lose.
