At least they let you know how bad the Bronze plan is. They call it POS 5500!!

I don't think I personally have incurred $12k of actual medical expenses in 37 years of life combined. If my employer didn't hook me up, and I expect that will end at some point, I wouldn't pay it.

Just as an anecdote, I went and "shopped" on Healthcare.gov this morning because I read something that said even with the increases that are being talked about so much lately, many plans will still be less than similar work provided healthcare. I have a family of 4 in GA and make less than 100k, there were about 18 "Silver" plans that had similar or lower premiums, many of which had an equal or lower deductible and comparable rates for primary care visits, generic prescriptions, etc. to what I have now.

Very surprising.

I wasn't doubting the veracity of the letter, just whether or not the person had went and shopped on the exchange afterward and what they found. Did you?
