I'm fairly certain he'll be better than what we had going last season.
52% completion rate, and 1-2 td to int rate ain't that tough to beat.

RE: How would you rank 2016 CUSA QB's?
Driskel actually had a decent second half and in the boxscore his stats will look half way decent. But he did not look comfortable out there. No boxscore will tell you that.

RE: How would you rank 2016 CUSA QB's?
I think Rice's Stehling ends up toward the middle of the pack. His 22/37, 183 yard, 2 INT performance doesn't look great on paper. But Rice WR's had at least 3-4 drops (including an easy long TD pass in the 2nd half) that would have really boosted his numbers. One of the INT's was a bit of a fluke (low pass tipped up by the WR). Rice doesn't have the most explosive WR's, but they are usually sure-handed, and the guys making the drops last week had no problems catching the ball in 2015.

RE: How would you rank 2016 CUSA QB's?
As much as I'd like to rank Chase first, I can't because we only have played one game against the NCAA equivalent of a pop warner team.. If he still has those numbers after the Louisville and Pitt games, then yeah...
But time will tell..

RE: How would you rank 2016 CUSA QB's?
LA Tech Redshirt senior quarterback Ryan Higgins threw for a personal best 34-of-52 for 409 yards and four touchdowns to lead Tech past South Carolina St.
Higgins stayed in the game until late in the third quarter when J'Mar Smith, who started last week and nearly led Tech to an upset of Arkansas, spelled him. Smith went 4-for-4 for 51 yards and a touchdown. He threw a 24-yard strike to DeJuawn Oliver, who had a nice night as a reserve with five catches for 90 yards.

Oh...I thought this thread was asking how I "would rank the 2016 CUSA QB's"?? And I could have sworn that's exactly how I was answered it.

Have to drop Litton a level after the past few weeks. He has truly been a disapointment, since "the hit" vs akron. He is playing scared and throwing off his back foot ever since.

I think Higgins may pass him this week, and he has one less week of playing as is.
