Objectively What is the Problem
I thought our loss to USF was due largely to coaching stupidity. The loss to Houston was a melt down in Q4 and the panic of RSFrosh QB.

Today I think we simply got beat. I did not see anything truly stupid today - I was not against trying to score at the end of the half.

1. Is our talent level competitive from top to bottom?

2. Is the O line the critical problem? Boone is not making yards this year - is it the O Line?

3. Are the players not motivated? They seem to wilt in the face of adversity.

4. Is CTT capable of recruiting to a mid level program? Other AAC teams seem to have talent. MAC teams seem to have talent. I doubt we would be above the middle of the MAC.

5. Is the team simply shell shocked and off balance?

6. Is the team simply poorly coached - delay of game after a TO?

Today we simply got physically manhandled. Why?

For whatever reason staff has lost the team. Once you get to these stage, they start sounding like the adults on Peanuts.

This staff can't recruit well. And they absolutely can't develop what they have. The problem is no one gets better. He blames youth because he has upperclassmaen that still play like freshmen.

RE: Objectively What is the Problem
Poor offensive play calling.

An offensive line that is struggling.

A makeshift coaching staff that is trying but not succeeding.

A coaching staff that either does not know how to or fails to make adjustments in the second half.

A passive defense that almost never blitzes.

Back to back zero point second halfs means we failed to adjust. 100% coaching.

Objectively speaking the problem is clearly FC Cincinnati.

Fans that don't appreciate how good a 3-3 record is with wins over Purdue, an FCS team, and Miami (OH).

True. How can anyone expect us to beat the top 100 teams?

RE: Objectively What is the Problem
1. Lack of offense. Last year we were too 10 in yards/game. Turnovers killed us. This year we are struggling with our 3 play offense. New qb, New receivers. Our o-line is experienced. Not good at run blocking, though.

2. Our D-backs are good. We get no pressure on qb. We tend to give up big play.

3. No halftime adjustments. Our coaches are struggling.

I would compare this team to the 2011-2013 USF teams. Plenty of talent but play undisciplined mistake prone football. I would scratch plenty and put some talent. Our coaches also make mind boggling personnel decisions. They play politics rather than the best players. It has been obvious to many fans that the coaches have not been invested in coaching for some time. You can see this with small things like the bowlcations, preparation(altitude will not make a difference in Salt Lake), and sideline demeanor.

Yep. No way Kiel is not the best option. CTT looks like a complete fool with his petty BS. Moore can not stretch the field, hence defenses key on the run.

RE: Objectively What is the Problem
Seriously. This staff is awful. Most of them were given their 1st college coaching gig under Tubbs or were between jobs. Mix in the fact they are not innovative, can't adjust and struggle in recruiting. It's a sh!t show now that this is his roster.

Tommy needs to be in between jobs. He's running a Ponzi scheme, pocketing the money, and we are the idiots who lost their investment.

Take a look at Houston. That will give you the answers. The players love to play for their coach and each other. That will win you a lot of games and recruits.

RE: Objectively What is the Problem
Objectively the problem is the Head Coach. This has been building since the end of Year 2. He rode the success that was built before he got here and now his "jig is up." He couldn't hack it in a mid-tier B12 school and now he can't handle a G5 program. He is dying on the vine and needs to step down and enjoy retirement with his wife and family. That's it.

Our recruiting is on par with the. AAC. We have three 4 star QBs. Player development is lacking.
We're not going to get much better recruits in the AAC.

Moore was a 4 star recruit?

Harbaugh would have no trouble with our quarterback situation. We have talent. Yes, I know, injuries and personal problems don't help.

BUT YOU CAN STILL COACH THEM UP.

That is what good coaches do. Next man in. Run the system.

Losers make excuses.
