Kaleb Castro graduated high school in 2013, so he's no kid. Could be helpful.

Just youtube. He doesn't look more than 5-8 and 140. Pretty jump shot, tho, and pretty quick going to his left.

But doesn't everyone look great in mixtapes?

If the BBall team can borrow Sam Craft, can they borrow Christopher Roberson too, 6'7-300lbs and he says he loved basketball.

""He was kind of leaning toward basketball," said Maness. "I think he probably could've played D-3 or NAIA basketball. I feel certain he could've played either of those."

Tigers could've had much more experienced big men.

Staff chose to go short-handed.

For whatever reasons anyone wants to use.

It is what it is.

Never thought i would hear the day anyone said the Tigers needed a player that "I think he probably could've played D-3 or NAIA basketball."

I'll say this. It's so refreshing hearing a real basketball guy/coach talk basketball instead of the garbage that Tiger fans had to endure over 7 years with the smiling gee golly routine, and pretty much never talking basketball. That said, I wish Tubby had added a few more good additions for this years squad. In the end though, Tubby will make or break himself with his actual record on the hardwood. I'm quite confident that Tubby will win big here, unlike Pastner. Thank goodness for Georgia Tech.

Good points.

Not confident he will win big just yet.

Confident most will be happy in a couple of years though - good teams, solid coaching, player development, competing for the AAC, not getting curb stomped in the NCAA tourney, etc.

7 months ago we were facing an epic nightmare that was only going to get uglier.

You know what is not refreshing?

Hearing said coach bemoan the lack of frontcourt depth and note that things will be tough because he only has one guy taller than 6'9 on the team when he had three friggin months to do something about it.

His answer was to bring in the 6th guy from Duran Duran who hasn't played ball in 4 years and try to enroll some kids who had no other college options by some time before Thanksgiving break.

The Calkins piece was a pretty clear indication of the free roll Tubby is going to get this season...he can basically do what he wants and say what he wants and there will be no questioning by the media.

I read it and did a couple of eye rolls at not only Tubby's quotes but Geoff's incorrect statements, but whatever at this point.

Calkins is the same guy who said Tubby won everywhere he'd been, which was patently false.

Just hope for the best overall.
