If Missouri State and JMU asked to join....maybe. If WKU and MTSU asked to return, sure. Otherwise, I think we're good at 10 teams

I've always been on board with NSMU as full members. If the "eastern mates" threw fit regarding NMSU give them EKU and call it square

With a champ game set with 10 in 2 years I just don t see expansion coming unless CUSA and Sun Belt reorganize

Not sure why the eastern half would throw a fit, we are at 6, your side will be at 4. I'm good with NMSU and really whoever from the west side that would bring substance of some kind to the conference. Weather it be a basketball, baseball or football, but bring something.

If we were to bring someone other then UTA for football, I think it would be time to cut ties with the non football members. Just would need to happen, sorry guys.

I sure hope we don't reorganize, it benefits CUSA far more than it does the Belt, which has (or will have) a compact footprint and real rivalries. We also are making more CFP money as well.

Those are three things CUSA doesn't have that we do. One is incurable without our help (and sacrifice), one is curable only over many years and the other is curable by next year but highly unlikely due to all the hungry mouths to feed.

Agreed, our current 10 far out weigh their 14.

I don't think the SBC will expand, as the eastern half controls it.

The numbers may be on the eastern side, but I don't think that means we don't understand the wants and needs of the western side. If we could snag a team out of CUSA, not one of the FCS call up of theirs, we would take them, no matter their location.

1. Compact footprint (incurable without our help)
2. Real rivalries (curable only over many years)
3. More CFP $$$ (Curable but not likely)

So you don't want to call up an established program like JMU who has the fan support and the budget as well as a history of success in football but want to have a start up?
