Never said otherwise. Nor am I thrilled with what the Florida sisters bring, particularly with regards to men's BB. RPI killers they are,.

Well.. True... But now that we are talking hoops.. We aren't exactly killers.. Although we had a nice run theough the dumpster fire that is CUSA b ball...I'm not sure that anyone other than MTSU, ODU, and UAB can lay stakes to bragging rights to CUSA hoops.

When you replaced teams like Houston, UCF, Memphis and East Carolina with ODU, Charlotte, UTSA and the F_U's, what did you think was going to happen? Did you believe that C-USA was going to continue to play at the same level? Especially after only two years? If so your expectations were much too high. Y'all need to get real. Your problem is not that we're here, it's that you're still here. And we had nothing to do with that....just saying.

I think most are frustrated with Charlotte, FIU, FAU, North Texas, and UTSA.

Out of those, FIU and North Texas are by far the least attractive and should be the first two we drop imo.

ODU has been pretty good at basketball and has a solid fan base. UTSA has a solid fan base for football, especially for being new, losing, and maintaining 25,000 fans per game. Charlotte has a high school football stadium, and moved up to fast. FAU has nice facilities, and has more potential imo. Miami doesn't even support Miami University, why would they all of a sudden start supporting FIU? There is no reason for us to have both of these schools, with one of them needing to go, I think FAU is the one to keep.

My widowed mother-in-law also thinks that it's her prerogative to piss and moan incessantly about the shortcomings of others, with no coherent sense of what it is she thinks ought to be done about it. And, at 85 years of age, she perhaps has earned the right to do so.

What's your excuse, USM and Marshall complainers?

ODU has 2 Apple Stores in its' market. The whole state of Mississippi has 1. Quite telling ....

All of us know that as long as their respected school stays in CUSA, there's only a limited amount of Growth toward any kind...the ceiling is not very high in CUSA. Any of our members could go 12-0 but we would have a small outside shot at an Access Bowl or Playoffs, especially if a member of the AAC went 12-0 in that same year...and the reason for that would be strength of the conferences and the perception of that conference...but the programs of ODU, UTSA, Charlotte, FAU, and FIU hold us down further than we already are.....and they don't understand what we (or I) am saying....or they really don't care to understand because they are just happy playing football . That's great, I'm happy they are but they need to be in their own league...but all of us league members that have long established football programs want better than this...and we won't see it if we stay in this mudhole version of CUSA. We will never reach that next level.

Kuddo's to Louisville, TCU, and Houston..and the rest of our former conference mates that decided they needed to do whatever they had to do to get out of CUSA. Look at them now. In a lot better shape than they were wearing that CUSA logo.

I think Old Blue said it best. We moved up, you stayed still. We did what we were supposed to do, it's your school that's failed. Sure you could have reloaded with Arh St or ULL. It's an argument that's been laid out since 2012. Would you be in a better situation? Who knows, at least we won our FCS game this year.

You want truth? Go look up your schools ticket sales and contributions and compare them to those schools that left you that you consider your peers and then compare them to the schools you're in a league with currently and then ask yourself who you belong with.
