RE: Bring on Clemson!!!
ok. i've never said Clemson has looked perfect this year. i do think our defense is good enough to shut down Lville's offense though. people who say they are not impressed with Clemson this year are singularly focused on the offensive not scoring 40 plus against teams, because they associate Clemson with offense. it is rarel to see G Tech's offense get stuffed the way they did the other night by Clemson, so I do think that is a good sign, and i don't think Lville defense could do that to G tech.

i think Watson is going to be in beast mode b/c he's heard people saying Jackson is better. he's going to be running it more too. the coaches have been conservative with him running it it to avoid injury, i contend.

if Lville can come into death valley and beat Clemson in front of 83,000 racouus Clemson fans, i'll be a believer in Lville but that doesn't mean the season is over yet. Lville does have the easiest conference schedule of fsu, lvill and clemson, and this is one of the things that i can't stand about the expansion era of the acc. i prefer every team playing every team.

RE: Bring on Clemson!!!
I don't think anyone expects Louisville to hit their season average of 63 points a game vs Clemson. Vegas' irrational insecurity of a team besides Clemson being praised just comes off as foolish however.

I expect a good game. I know Clemson will be very tough to beat and I'm not so insecure that I feel the need to trash the Tigers. I also have enough football knowledge to know that relying heavily on prior season stats to "prove" why my team will win a game in 2016 is a fools game.

RE: Bring on Clemson!!!
y ou are insecure, b/c i've never trashed Lville but you act like i have. i think they are way overhyped based on who they have played so far.

i wsn't relying on last year stats to prove that Clemson wins this year. it was to cast doubt on the notion that Lville is a favorite to win, a contention made by several people. the point was that Lville could not run it against Clemson last year, and they were at home. obviously lamar jackson didn't start that game, but that O-line is going to have improved significantly in one season to win at Clemson.

you like beating up on strawmen arguments. you are undefeated agaisnt strawmen.

Thanks for proving my point by once again contradicting yourself above & basing your argument on what happened in 2015.

By the way, I called you out last week on your straw men argument. I think you just used that comment because you saw me use it last week. You don't have a clue what it means do you? 03-lmfao

Debating fun only lasts for a short time when you lack a worthy adversary, so I'll let this one sit for the afternoon!

pointing out your O-line is probably sitll a weakness is not the same as predicting Clemson will win. you are dumb person.

the logic that i've been trying to counter is that Lville is better than Clemson simply b/c they've been scoring more points.

I'm expecting a Classic...Clemson is the Defending ACC Champion and they are at home...The entire Nation will be tuned in this Saturday Night and expect Watson and Jackson to put on a show...Both OL will be tested due to both Louisville and Clemson have outstanding pass rushers.

RE: Bring on Clemson!!!
From CBS Sports this morning...dude is doing his best Bo Jackson Temco Bowl impersonation...lol

With his performance on Saturday night, Jackson has more than 1,300 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and three interceptions along with more than 500 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. If he can somehow keep up this torrid pace, Jackson would finish the season with close to 4,000 yards passing, 1,500 yards rushing and 75 total touchdowns, which is just an absolutely absurd thing to think about.

No one has said that. Louisville is ranked near the top in both offense & defense efficiency. Clemson defense has looked good but their offense has been sluggish. Is that even a point of contention? Watson & the Tigers are very capable exploding again like they did against the Tide but we haven't seen anything like that THIS year.

If you think Quick is the only WR that the Cards have then we invite you to double & triple team him. Please do.

This in Bold...but Coach Venables at Clemson know better than that....Also, I don't know of one Louisville fan that doesn't realize it will take a Herculean effort to beat the Clemson Tigers in Primetime in Death Valley....we have too much respect for that program and their tradition.

FYI...Clemson opens as a 3 Point Favorite in Death Valley.

I think Louisville has enough talent to win, but Clemson also has talent and the home field advantage. So I have to make a pick and it is Ville in a hard fought win. 07-coffee3

Yep, should be a great college football atmosphere. Based on what I have seen from both teams so far, I unfortunately have to say that I think UL will win. Clemson has not played anywhere close to their total team potential for an entire 60 minutes - if they do, then they can most definitely beat UL and I certainly hope that this is what I see on Saturday night! If they do not play up to their potential, then I am afraid it will be a long night for my Tigers. Regardless of which team wins, it's a win for the ACC having this type of hype and exposure.

I have a strong feeling we will see the Clemson that was expected in the Preseason...The Elite Team they are...04-cheers

again, Lville has not faced a good defense. Auburn obviously has a good defense. G Tech on the road is tougher than Cuse or Marshall on the road.

if that QB can't run, Lville loses.

Clemson offense did not look sluggish last week (ton of 1st downs, ton of yardage in 1st half, won time of possesion against a triple option offense team) or the week before when scored a ton of points and game was ended early, or the 4th quarter of the Troy game (17 points). the G Tech score would have been over 40 if it was a competitive game, Dabo had the luxury of conservative playcalling on offense. but all you do is look at the final score.

Lville has also not faced a tedam with a pulse on offense.

btw, your coach is an old horndog who preys on young women. you are rooting for the devil. lol

you have a false narrative. Clemson isn't Cuse, Charlotte, or Marshall.

& FSU isn't Charlotte, SC State, Troy, GT or even Auburn. You need to get over your false narrative. The Cards SOS so far is on par with teams like Ohio St & Michigan (according to sagarin). Clemson has a great team but the national narrative is that Clemson is underperforming, that's not a slight but a fact. No one is putting Clemson down. Are you jealous over the attention Louisville is getting? The more spotlights that are on the ACC the better. Lighten up & lets sit back and enjoy a great game Saturday night in prime time. Win or lose Clemson is still a title contender.

Uh...Auburn has again the #66 Ranked Defense in the Nation...Troy is currently 82nd in Defense...Neither are as good as you assert..BTW, South Carolina State a school from the FCS-(The MEAC) is even worse than Charlotte...those darn facts.

FSU in Total Offense is currently 28th Nationally in Total Offense and Syracuse is currently 25th in Total Offense...better than any school that Clemson has played.

It seems to me you don't like the attention the National Media is giving Louisville...Get over it...07-coffee3
