Think USF might belong in that list too.

Cause they are NDSU. On the cusp of winning 6 FCS titles in a row and probably beat more P5 schools since 2010 years than any G5 (Since 2010: 5 P5 wins, and 1 G5 win).

It's actually because of App State. The AP changed the way they can vote for teams after App beat Michigan in 2007.
I honestly think NDSU might be ranked just a tad low...at least until someone proves dofferent.

SEC teams. The SEC is Alabama and a bunch of mediocre teams. Week one tells you everything you need to know about the SEC.

I wouldnt say mediocre. our teams would beat very few of them. I just think they are automatically over rated in the preseason polls because of their supposed wealth of top recruits and multi million dollar coaches. also the networks have to gin up interest in all those prime time games. since there are more recruits than p5 schools can sign, more and more make their way to the g5 and the disparity in talent is becoming less.

"Our teams" would beat a lot of them under equal footing. The SEC never goes on the road, and they get their conference officials, which is huge. Look at the CMU-OSU game for reference

OSU is picked to finish 5th in the Big 12, they will probably win about 7 games during the regular season. And no the Sun Belt would not beat a lot SEC teams on a neutral field. App State-the"U" tells you all you need to know about the Sun Belt.

Hurray for judgements on a league based on one game! Can I compare the MAC and Sun Belt from last year based on the Go Daddy Bowl?

The SEC seems mediocre and unimpressive until you compare them to pretty much every other Power 5 league. Every P5 league has at least one loss to a sub-P5 team even if we don't count AAC or Mountain West teams.

Boise still has a lot to prove. I agree with Houston and San Diego State, though.

Boise has BYU and SDSU left as their big games. I think they split and finish 11-1.

I think this is exactly right with Troy App and GS 1-3 in the Belt right now. Almost universal agreement GS is 3 with some disagreement over who is 1 or 2 with Troy and App

I think that's a pretty fair ranking order based on what we've seen so far.
