THis could be on repeat the last 20 seasons, who would go to UK at this point? What do their fans expect? They have rarely had any success since I have been alive..

Coaches leaving have shocked me before, but I would be absolutely stunned if Brohm went to UK....Brohm is from the Petrino coaching tree, and most of those coaches hate UK....If anything can see Brohm going to the NFL as OC...Brohm is a different kind of guy, not saying he is never leaving but he turned down several programs last season and pissed off a lot of people in the process of doing that with agents, other programs, etc...I am guessing Brohm doesn't really care, he does stuff the way he wants to do it and is not after the first job that comes open like many coaches are...ANother plus he moved from a townhome last year to a house bought in BG....

I agree with you on the whole matter. Kentucky had Bear Bryant and he left because they cared more about the basketball program.

I was just sharing the information that I know.

Brohm would be foolish to leave for Kentucky. That is a graveyard.

The money speaks though. Stoops is making 3 million this year and by 2019 it goes up to 4.25 million. Brohm is making $800,000 this year. Sign a 4 year deal at UK and no matter what happens after that you're set for life with 12-15 million. I admit I'm a UK can and follow the program closely. Stoops could lose every game left and he's not getting fired this year. The starting qb is out several more weeks with a back issue and that'll likely be used as the excuse for such a bad year. No excuse for such a horrible defense though.

RE: Kentucky fans talking about Brown.
you never know what will happen when big time donors get involved, all it takes is 3 or 4 Kentucky "fat cats" to pressure the administration, and they would find the money to buy out Stoops, especially if they feel there is a great coach out there that they want. As far as Brohm, if he wins another 9 or 10 games this year, its hard to believe a big time program will not come after him.

Barker being out is a good thing for UK, he is a horrible QB and folded even in high school when he had to play top competition, the guy is a fraud....He put up gaudy numbers against a lot of weak teams during his time frame...When he played real competition he was shut down....Plus leaders of teams are not involved in bar fights....

Naaa! He's got a bit more work to do before we should worry. I'd say if the next 2 yrs we have only 2-3 loses each...then we should worry. Till that happens, relax.

Neal Brown, if he continues what he is doing, should get better offers than Kentucky from football programs that have a chance to be successful.

Kentucky is one of those schools where football just doesn't win. If it wasn't for SEC money no telling where they would be. It's hard to imagine a coach planning a long career there...

If he goes somewhere that means we did something right and all I would have to say is thanks coach. And good luck.

It's funny. Half of the posts in that thread make no sense and they obviously haven't done their homework. HCNB is the real deal and we at TROY will be sad when the time comes for his departure to greener pastures. But until then I'm going to enjoy the ride.
