Honestly, that could be said about the conference as a whole; really have no idea how this year will play out. Seems to be a lot of inconsistent play thus far.

Have mercy on the rankings. Mahomes is clearly dealing with the devil. Check TT's stats, its confirmed.

We proved we are very avg without 4 of our best players

I don't really think the word power has any place in these rankings.

This. UTSA played a great game at home. Tech did it twice on the road against some pretty good teams.

After today's UTEP performance, Charlotte has company at the very bottom of the rankings. The Miners were nothing short of an embarrassment...at home...broadcast for the whole nation to see.

Luckily we are done playing the best defense and the best offense we will face all year. Lost by 15 points combined between the two, which is better than any of us probably expected.

If defense just pulls back together we can make it another 9-win season, hopefully.

That last TD by LA Tech was a gift but then again...TT did give up 68 points last week to a team that UTSA held in check for (15 points) 3.5 quarters. So TT is just probably that bad on defense.

But I don't see giving up 59 points and respectable in the same sentence

I will not rate Western so based on only looks and not record I will go with

TT has score 50+ in their last 8 home games, against big 12 schools #3TCU and #12 OSU. Mahomes is one of the top 2 or 3 QB's in the country.

Disaster of a week, with UTSA as only team significantly improving their status.

1. WKU - A rare victory this week for the conference
2. La Tech - Lost a shoot-out in Lubbock, not an easy place to play
3. MTSU - 2-1 record, relatively good in CUSA
4. UTSA - Best showing in conference in narrow loss
5. USM - Losing to Sun Belt Troy at home not a good sign
6. Marshall - Rating based on prior year, blown out by Akron
7. Rice - Winless against tough schedule
8. ODU - Here by default
9. NT - Defense looks ready, monumentally bad offense against great Florida defense
10. FIU - Loss to UMass
11. UTEP - Blown out by much better than anticipated Army
12. FAU - Big loss to very tough Kansas St
13. Charlotte - That Louisville loss doesn't look so bad now

We're rated too high by most of you right now. I wouldn't put too much stock into our result against Arizona State. They gifted us 14 of our 28 points by fumbling inside their 25 on punt returns. Aside from that, we played Arizona close each of the last two years and look at what that got us.
