My guess is Stetson. They probably wouldn't be thrilled with basketball moving from the A-Sun to the Big South, but it gets their football into a conference that offers actual scholarships.

Reports say they aren't adding a 7th member, or dropping below 6. ASun is having an announcement tomorrow. My guess is the ASun is adding football. Kennesaw State leaves, they back fill with Campbell.

UNF and FGCU start up? I find it odd they are making an announcement for football membership, but there is still gonna be six teams. All on the same day the ASun is having a pressed.

No clue but knowing the Big South most people probably won't consider it "major".

One theory that someone based on a remark in a master plan is that the Big South wanted to create a football only conference like MVFC or CAA football. So I think it may be some sort of partnership between the A Sun and Big South in football. I don't see a full merger just for auto bids in all sports - especially basketball.

Thanks ... the funny thing is I thought this was basically already done when KSU added football. I recall reading an article stating that the two conferences had an agreement. A while later someone asked the Big South on records and they stated no formal agreement was in place. So I think a gentleman's agreement was in place but they've now formalized and publicized it like this is some big deal when it really isn't.
