When they did a segment on BBQ recipes a day or two after Vernon left, I quit listening all together. I mean....give a f****** break. Sounds like I haven't missed much.

Of the ones that have filled in (Forrest Goodman, Matt Stark, Terry Brooks), Matt Stark did the best job and he does have some experience between 92.9 and he also hosted on Sports 56 for a while.

The producer was Bennett Doyle. If Brooks is Vernon's permanent replacement I'll not be listening.

Brooks will be definitely an acquired taste. If they can find a co-host he has chemistry with, he will be fine. It definitely wasn't Roser.

And he didn't really remind me of Stephen A. Smith. He reminded me more of the black lawyer character on Seinfeld.

I think they go with Matt Stark. I'd say Forrest, but with his work with Learfield, it might be too much to handle him on WREC. Matt Stark fits with that dynamic they have there even if his show would be completely different than Verno's. But Matt needs a cohost.
