My 3:
1. Ga Southern at South Alabama. Only conference game of week. Is South Alabama a real threat to win league? Is GS new coaching staff ready to make a statement? This game will answer questions about both teams
2. McNeese at Louisiana. will defensive shakeup in Lafayette make a difference? Are the wheels really coming off for Hud?
3. Troy at Clemson. While I don t think many expect Troy to win the question is can they show they are better this year? Can Troy keep the game competitive?

If McNeese/ULL is an intriguing game, that is certainly not a good sign for the Cajuns.

It's not a good sign for the SunBelt if an FCS game is one of the most intriguing match ups.

IMHO, it's intriguing because of the defensive shake up. If that hadn't happened I'd have little interest.

#1 is obvious (homer pick)
#2 is Ark State (how will they change things up? Surely they aren't going to take the same offensive approach against Auburn)
#3 is Troy (not expecting an upset, but will be the first game where you get a glimpse into who they are)

Agree. No SBC-FCS game should ever be viewed as intriguing under any circumstance. Well, maybe playing one of the Dakota teams during blizzard would b the exception.

Don't think we will know who Troy is till the Southern Miss game maybe. Clemson could beat us 49-10 and we could still win 7-8 games this year and

It shouldn't matter, a pet Zebra should be able to coordinate the Cajuns defense to a win against McNeese.

The only thing I am curious about in this one is how Tabary looks, since we all thought this time last year that he'd be our starting QB right now.

God I remember they waltz into boon and kicked our but some years back. That scar back guy had like 350 yards it was awful .

My gut says ULL has this one and they are probably better than how they looked against Boise. I guess we will see soon enough.

GS @ USA who will take the early lead in the conference race
GSU @ AF can GSU iron out the kinks and win against another G5
ODU @ App will ODU make a game of it or will App continue it's G5 OOC dominance

You don't need to base Troy's play against Clemson on how much better they are this year. App State got drubbed 49-10 last season, but went on to have an 11-2 record.

Clemson is an extremely tough team to judge if Troy is better than last year.
