BYU and SEC both have 3 letter abbreviations. You may have broken the realignment code!

cookies, milk, diet rites vs lots of turkey legs, corn dogs and Schlitz. I'll tell you what though, BYU players would drop more LSU players with kicks to the nuts. Tigers dropping like flies trying to hold on their family jewels. Lots of LSU players would be unable to have children if BYU was on the schedule regularly.
Cheers!

I just thought of this - LSU @ BYU; I have a feeling if the Tiger Nation didn't bring their own booze, they won't find any in Provo!

BYU to the SEC!!
BYU and Arizona to the SEC (Missouri to the West, Alabama and Auburn to the East)

UCLA and California to the B1G (Purdue to the East)

USC and Stanford to the ACC, Notre Dame agrees to 6th game as it now has a game in California once every 3 years.

Big 12 adds 5 Pac 12 schools, Pac 12 dissolves:

West - Washington, Oregon, Arizona State, Utah, Colorado, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Baylor
East - Texas, Oklahoma, TCU, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Iowa State, Cincinnati, West Virginia

Washington State and Oregon State join the Mountain West, along with UTEP and Rice

The American adds UMass

Three years later, Boise State is unhappy at not playing in the Western Division, and leads a group to the WAC including Washington State, Oregon State, Hawaii, San Diego State, San Jose State, Fresno State, UNLV; New Mexico State is the lone "eastern" football member; Seattle, Grand Canyon, UTRGV, and Bakersfield remain as non-football members

The Mountain West adds UTSA, North Texas, Idaho, Montana, and Montana State

RE: BYU to the SEC!!
We've covered this before. Notre Dame is acceptable to the SEC because we are the Bible Belt, and both the SEC and Notre Dame's favorite colors are $Green$. That at least is in the realm of possibility. But you can't run moonshine on bicycles and we are not known as the Book of Mormon Belt. Besides almost everyone in the 60's that wore white shirts, black pants, and narrow black neckties and went door to to door in the South were FBI agents. It freaks out everyone here who has something to hide, and if you think long enough about it that is just about everybody.

We don't have sister wives in the South either. 3rd cousins are permissible. That's why most Southerners count their cousins to the 3rd position removed. You can't even slide with a really cute 2nd cousin either as we have standards.

Southerners drink Coke, not pop, not soda, not Coca Cola, but Coke. It may be in a Pepsi bottle but it's a coke damn it! Mormon's don't drink Coke. Therefore they can never put a small package of salted peanuts in the bottle. We don't trust people who can't put peanuts in a Coke and drink it.

In the South if it is not a Coke then it is definitely a mixer. Coke can be a mixer too, but it is the only soft drink. RC's are not a soft drink. They are a chaser for moon pies. Boiled peanuts do not go with RC's or Coke. You only eat boiled peanuts if you are drinking cold beer. If you don't know that then you are a Yankee obviously. Yankees that learn to eat boiled peanuts with their cold beer can be trusted, and may even be a convert. You don't talk to anyone who wants to know where they can buy sodas or pop!

If they try to put brown sugar in grits they are a Yankee and think they are eating Cream of Wheat! The only appropriate toppings or superfluous ingredients for grits are extra salt, butter, and of course cheese. If they don't know that they aren't to be trusted. If they don't know that and are wearing black pants, white shirts, narrow black ties and riding bicycles they are either Mormons or FBI agents whose car has broken down. Don't trust them!

So you see guys, B.Y.U. will never be in the SEC. The reason? They are not a cultural fit. Notre Dame? They despise the Big 10, have Irish ancestors like many in the South, tend not to trust central authority (like many in the South) and love football. They blend even if some of them are not cultural fits. And, more importantly like most Methodist and Episcopalians they will speak to you in the liquor store. Also, they don't ride bicycles.

That was great! FYI...West Texans put peanuts in their Cokes too. I don't know if you consider Texas as part of southern culture. I don't. Not saying their Yankees either. Texans are simply Texans. The only people I know that say "pop" are mid-westerners. They say Soda on East Coast. Coke every where else. Never heard someone from Utah say "pop". Granted, I don't know too many people from Utah. In my small town in Iowa we said "pop". People form Illinois & Michigan say it too. My Dad still says "warsh" and not wash. My Grandma never once uttered the words "yes" it was "ya". (Yaaah) I can tell within 30 seconds of speaking to someone if their mid-western in origin. The 0's are funny.
Cheers!

True southerners don't go to liquor stores. They leave money on a stump.
