You started this garbage with your proclamation that houston is the only team thats loss would result in negative perception. Houston has not even been relevant in this conference until last year. The loss to texas arlington was a real nice touch. So please. Not interested in your 1970s greatness.
first off i never said that we'd be the only loss with a negative perception hit, losing anyone is a perception hit..i just said losing Houston would be the biggest..i never even said it was because of Cincy the program but because college football is a "what have you done for me now" league in perception...and this league is 3 seasons old...and last i checked Houston carried the bowl perception of the league two of those 3 years..something cincy tried to tank in all 3..
and thanks for adding to my point it was utsa not Arlington literally no one cares or remembers that we lost 2 years ago to utsa..not even you..you are doing really really badly at proving your point..and dont seem to understand how perception works
and your 2009 team played 2 top 25 team total, houston played 4 last year...and that 2009 cincy was blownout in your bowl in embarrassing fashion, it was 44-10 at the start of the 4th quarter..a 100% of the sec gave florida a better game (in a down SEC, only 2 top 15 teams)
me and any non cincy fan would easily take 2015 houston over that 2009 cincy. in all honesty houston would probably be a 7-9 point favorite by vegas
and id comfortably without a slight hesitation take our 2011 team over any non 2009 uc team in HISTORY...and honestly would have the 2011 Houston win by 14 easily...
you realize our 2011 team shattered every offense record in the ncaa, won games by an average of 30 points, that team produced over a 1000 more yards than the next team in ncaa history ..and doing this with most starters out the 4th quarter of every game
in the bowl game in 2011 we played #19 PSU who was ranked #4 in the nation in overall defense and in almost every defensive category... now i want you to go look up the record for most offensive yards in one half in a bowl game.ill save you time it was houston versus that psu defense
