For those that for whatever reason can't see or read the picture above...

1. Conference Champions: Appalachian State (9-3, 7-1)
2. Arkansas State (8-4, 6-2)
3. Georgia Southern (7-6, 6-2)
4. Troy (6-6, 4-4)
5. UL-Lafayette (6-6, 4-4)
6. Georgia State (6-6, 4-4)
7. South Alabama (5-7, 4-4)
8. Idaho Vandals (4-8, 3-5)
9. New Mexico State (3-9, 3-5)
10. Texas State (3-9, 2-6)
11. ULM (2-10, 1-7)

Bowl Predictions:
New Olreans: App State vs Southern Miss
GoDaddy: Arkansas State vs NIU
Cure Bowl: Georgia Southern vs Tulsa
Camellia Bowl: Troy vs CMU
**Arizona Bowl: La-La/GSU? vs MWC
**NOTE: This was published before the announcement of the Arizona Bowl/Sunbelt Primary tie in.

Pretty much how I see it.

For what it's worth, Seminole does not represent AState fans and hopefully football fans here understand that. He apparently knew a coach with the team some years ago and believe that is where all his expertise came from. After the coach left, he has swore off the program because the coach was done wrong but keeps up the volume with his talent analysis until we all go nuts. He has been encouraged many times to pull for some other team. Think it's best if we just let his posts slip quietly by without any response.

I kind of enjoy the banter he brings after all it's just a message board.

Good luck this season unless you're playing GS of course!

Color me optimistic coming off the demolition of Bowling Green, and returning a lot of defensive talent.

Most of us have learned, speaking for me, when I respond to him it's usually sarcastic/trolling of my own; I think that's the case with most GS posters

Same. I enjoy the back and forth. I don't go home and tell my wife how big of an idiot he is... ok well there was that one time.

Here are their all conference selections:

http://athlonsports.com/college-football...rence-team

I'm pretty confident that one of A-State's QB's will be the player of the year in the SBC ,IF it is not one of their receivers.

Probably Matt Breida. Unless Fields has a monster season because they'll split carries more.
If they were to beat A-State maybe, but that is not likely at their place.

Again you guys don't know how talented this years team is, because you are still going by last years team, and there is no comparison.

While they were obviously more talented than any SBC team last year, their team this year is head-and-shoulders above last years in talent so enjoy the off season, because they will totally dominate the real one.

So if they are "head and shoulders" better what does that mean nationally? Winning at least one FBS OOC game as opposed to last year and or not getting blown out three of the four FBS OOC games?

Being a little facetious, but honestly saying things like "head and shoulders" and not even comparable to last years team is meaningless when last years teams was not even a top 25 team. Are they are frontrunner to win the conference with App, yes but give me a break with trying make them seem 10X better than last years team. I usually don't get into preseason opinion but if this Ark St team does not end up in the top 25 based on your "analysis" you are going to look pretty dumb......and or dumber.

I can't argue with Athlon's prediction.

But I can stomp my foot and yell "That's not what I want to happen!"

So I will do that instead.

I heard you got a star player back recently. One that had transferred out?

I think a lot of Larry Rose III, but how is that not Breida?

Elusive: difficult to find, catch, or achieve

Josh Magee is a heck of an athlete, but I don't even think he's the best athlete on our team. I think Gerald Everett may be the best athlete in the conference.

I'm excited to see what Riley Cole can do if he makes the field this year. He will certainly have a chip on his shoulder.

Yeah, I'm sure Breida got plenty of consideration. Another guy to keep an eye on next year is our freshman Jalin Bluie. He's small, but extremely shifty. He was rated 86 by 247 and was committed to Auburn at one point. I'm not sure how much time he'll get behind Xavior Johnson, but I think he'll be fun to watch.
