I ran into some old voltron cartoon tapes back in the day. One was a 30 minute episode, the other was a 90 minute episode. It took me a week to watch; it was so bad.

The plot of every episode: (done 3 times in the hour and a half episode)
-Bad guy comes in
-Voltroners jump in their robot cats to fight and eventually get their asses kicked
-Bad guy comes back
-Voltroners form up into their large robot and do some damage but eventually start getting their asses kicked again
-Bad guy won't go away
-Voltroners form their sword and split the bad guy with on fell swoop, thus ending the bad guy with a simple manuver that could have been done in the first 3 minutes of the episode
-The end

Voltron was way better than anything Power Rangers ever hoped to be.

I've watched the first four episodes, and I've liked what I've seen. In talking to a friend, he said that they tried to please every Voltron fan and - in his mind - they succeeded. I find it difficult to disagree with his sentiment.

Well, I have enjoyed the fact that there isn't a new RoBeast every episode that Voltron has to fight lol.... I would say that I think they underused ______'s sorcoress aide though.

I'll have to give it a try when it comes out on DVD

I don't think Net Flix has put their own shows out on physical media yet. I could be wrong though...

I think House of Cards got that treatments as well but I don't think Daredevil has...

My daughter (13 y.o.) thought that was true about Pidge all along, so we got a good laugh out of it.

I randomly remember as kids when we played with Voltron toys if we had a second girl in our group she always played with Pidge as a girl. Guess it was too obvious even back then.
