As it stands today, do we have enough true scholarship players to scrimmage in practice? Go 5 on 5? Assuming there are no injuries or grade problems. Just curious. I honestly do not know.

I think were are at either 7 or 8 ATM.

We will be fine. They are keeping it quite.

I thought by true scholarship players he meant players that were recruited for scholarship not walk-ons that are granted scholarships because we have extras going unused. That's why I didn't count McDowell or Scott. I had honestly forgotten that Broddie was staying, or at least I guess he decided to stay. So that's how I arrived at 7-8 and not 10.

I'm just excited to see a well coached team.

The players will come.

Orlando knows he has a free pass until about 2020. Because there are so many who actually believe the myth that the program has fallen into disarray. He can create the biggest fuster cluck in the world for the next three years and no one will care because they will blame it on the former coach. But after 3 years that excuse can no longer be used.

I don't care about star ratings as much as kids that want to learn and be coached. Its been a long time since Memphis looked like an organized basketball team and not an AAU summer league team.
