From being down 8-1 in the 9th to the CAA champions, incredible!

First CAA team to rally from the losers' bracket to win the whole thing. First Tribe Baseball title in 15 years.

Much more to write tomorrow after this is all absorbed...but this must go down as perhaps the finest
three days in W&M baseball annals!

There's a song from the great old Broadway Show, Damn Yankees---"You've Gotta Have Heart". Well,
this group of never-say-die Tribe players and coaches certainly have that and more!!

Heroes all over the lot for William & Mary: guys we heard of and guys who came out of nowhere under the big tent (Fletcher, Waldman, etc.) in big moments.

Congrats to Coach Brian Casey and his assistants. Great job bringing this team...it will never be forgotten.

We'll probably be a 4 seed, but we have a higher RPI tha at least 5 teams that have made it (Not factoring in 2 wins over UNCW today) so we shouldn't be dead last.

Edit: Based off this live RPI, I count 10 teams we actually have a higher RPI than who made it in. Still porbably a 4 seed though

It's not fair to measure us by record. We had, like men's basketball, a very tough OOC schedule. All that did was better prepare us to be CAA Champs. A+

I proudly raise the mark on the Tribe season to A+..never have I gladly been so wrong!

A day we'll be savoring forever.

This is truly one for the ages. Seven runs down with three outs to go and somehow we rally to tie it. THEN we have a 24 hour rain delay. THEN Cullen goes LARGE for the win in Game 1. If we lose game 2 it would all be forgotten, but all we do is put up 9 early, blow a 5 run lead, and then hit a Grand Salami for the win. Most satisfying 4 seed in NCAA baseball tourney history. If this was a Disney movie, we would now make it all the way to Omaha ?

Tribe just used some other school's ticket to Omaha. Wonder who?

Also, I believe the Tribe committed only 2 errors in the 5 games. That certainly helped.

Yeah, they looked good in the field, which is surprising because they looked so terrible in the field early in the season. Wrighte & Large both played very well defensively in the UNCW games
