This is about our stadium expansion.
We have the money.
The approval is tied up in politics out of our control.
We are moving forward, and the SunBelt will look back now and see that adding Coastal was a fantastic decision.
Fixed it for ya.

Why doesn't Trump Make Liberty Great? I mean after all, you just don't win. You don't win at football. You don't win at basketball. You don't win at baseball. He should be able to make you win.

Because he doesn't want to make it seem like he is buying his job but can help make connections with others if the fit is right. We already have a significant sponsorship from TD Bank that his hire helped facilitate. I think he's doing the right thing.

The real questions is that the CHE has not given any guidelines on how much they would like for Coastal to have in donations before they will approve the project. They could receive a 1 million dollar donation and the CHE could still say we would like to see more.
This guy gets it.

If the Sun Belt made the right realignment decision, they would be at liberty for a peaceful night sleep.
CCU stadium looks like a Backyard Football 2002 situation.

Nope. I don't have the time to study minor Texas schools. I am glad you built an expansion.

Defining minor as not FBS or P5 because it isn't about the size of the institution.

So, Army is a "major" school now? Or are you simply biased against other "minor schools" located specifically in Texas?

He's a Liberty fan, as evidenced by all of his previous posts on the subject. Nothing to see here except severe butt hurt. It's funny that he's even too embarrassed to admit he roots for Liberty. I guess I would be too, though.

But you were already on here. How valuable can your time possibly be to where you can't even take a few seconds to google something? Must be a closet Liberty fan lol. I really don't have a problem with Liberty but then some of their fans have to act so high and mighty it kinda makes me happy they're stuck in FCS. Well, maybe not, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Yeah, a couple of posts equals fandom. I guess everyone on the realignment has an AAC team they root for.

The SEC considers us P5! :)
Seriously, by any metric of television and notoriety, Army is a major team. We have a contract for our games, our attendance is still 30,000 despite some struggles, we have National Championships, Heisman winners, legends, Hall of Famers galore, our rivalry game is played on CBS (The only time I have seen a Sun Belt team on CBS is on the bottomline!) and we have a cherished role in college football history.
That is major. It is like realignment, Rutgers and Maryland weren't the best on the field teams but they had other skills that made them major.
I like the Sun Belt and root for you fellows against the big boys but there is way too much Army bashing on this board. I get it, we are currently down but we are major in terms of universities and aren't directional schools playing second fiddle and at the mercy of state governments which wish to kill your athletics. I understand that there is some envy coming from the newer programs which don't have any history. I deal with the same crap on the AAC board from USF and UCF fans. I tried to start a weekly history lesson for some of the older teams (SMU, Tulane etc) but little minds and jealous hearts trolled it.
I thank UL for giving us Chris Cagle!
